Pete's mother, Dot
Can anyone, maybe on the show, verify that Pete's mother, Dot, was Mrs. Peel on Little House on the Prairie? She was very good on the show, I hope that we see more of her. I love that snooty type!
Hi Stephanie Jo! I don't remember the character on Little House, but, I wasn't a huge fan. I do remember Nellie the brat's mother.
.....Channing Chase's imdb filmography only goes back as far as 1984, and Little House ended in 1983... the cast for Little House didn't show a Mrs. Peel, so who knows....i'm sure it's out there somewhere...

No, not Miss Beadle. There was an episode when Mary was teaching in some far out town, and Mrs. Peel practiced voodoo. Her character's face & expressions were so unforgettable (esp for a die-hard LHOTP fan!) that the minute I saw Dot's eyes, I had to know. Thkx 4 responding to this silly question!
Is the Gloria character a scheming, coniving gold diggen' woman or what? It will be interesting to see what the writers can do to make this character even more dispicable.

Hi Stephanie Jo. Hope you're still reading this thread. The character on LHOTP was Miss Peel and she was played by Anita Dangler (1922-2000) in Little House Season 4, Episode 15: Whisper Country. So she is not the same as Channing Chase who plays Pete's Mom. That lady was pretty scary on Little House.
