Names mentioned

At the gambling place, Freddie and Roger used funny phoney names, Don used Rachel's husband's name. Later Don mentioned Archibald Whitman, an old drunk he used to know. Where their other mentions like this that meant something if a person was paying attention?

Just goes to show I shouldn't be allowed to use a keyboard until I have been up a while. Please excuse the many typos. : )

The shirts Jane gave Don were from Menken's. A minor detail, but a reminder of Maggie Siff's character.

I think these were kind of like Freudian slips on Don's part. He's probably emotionally exhausted by his estrangement with Betty and not knowing if he's going to lose his wife, kids. He's been trying to work that out and still keep the facade that everything is fine while at the office. When he saw the Menkin's bag, he was reminded of Rachel and his affair with her. So.... when he was drunk and not completely in control of himself, he mentions Rachel's husband's name in a derisive way and he mentions his bio father's name in an off-hand comment to Roger. These things are on his mind, and under all the pressure, the man who is always in control of almost every situation suddenly lets go and says what he's thinking.
