MadMen, affairs, and our real lives.

I'm wondering if there are viewers who have had a tough time watching because of their real life experience(s) with infidelity. Whether it was you or your partner that strayed, how has Mad Men affected you? As the one who, in real life, was betrayed in my relationship, I know that I can't make it through a single episode without breaking down. It hurts my previously wayward partner who loves the show and while we don't watch together, he knows how much it all hurts...seeing all of these characters wounding their partners, relishing their trysts. Is Mad Men affecting anyone's relationship? Triggering anyone who's had to deal with real life affairs? How? Has it been all tears, or a platform to discuss your particular relationship difficulties, or...?
