Maddict Facebook group

Hey all of you Maddicts on Facebook - I created a group for us. There are some other Mad Men groups on there, but mine is called Maddicts. See you there!

that's like when a party breaks up into two different ends of the house....

believe me, there are TONS of things i want to bring here, but am worried it will take people somewhere else.

then Clayton would be lonely.

Well, I am not going anywhere. This site is too much fun! Besides, I have no idea what Facebooks is all about or how to get there, and I am not interested in learning. I have enough trouble hanging on to the things I already know about without trying to cram more computer know-how into my apparently overloaded memory cells.

What were we talking about, anyway?

NancyStowOH, I hate to throw more cold water on your well-intended gesture, but I have all I can handle keeping up with all the posts on here. Guess I'll say put, too. But thanks for the thought!

Clarification - in no way am I trying to draw traffic away from here! When I saw that there were already Mad Men groups on there, I wanted ours to be different. Maddicts is like a code word that only those of us who get on here all the time will know! I still prefer to do all the chatting on here, but I wanted to proudly feature something from Mad Men on my profile.

....funny, i'm laughing - i have been feeling bad about saying that, but i still think the traffic should stay here...

what i WOULD say is you are right on about the FEATURES that facebook provides.

you've been to the "pseudo-" and "actual-" profiles threads...

that is something that would be a very cool feature here. to have a profile like facebook, for either our real selves or just the screen names and their profiles.

i really see what you are saying, but we need you here! there are a bunch of people i am wondering where they are, actually.

for instance, MadShrubbery is young, so is all over the place out there.... i miss her voice here....

anyway, i thought it would be cool to have the profile thing for a more solid community.

man, i've been trying to say that, without saying that, so now i'm just going to say it. i sound like a big commie or something!
