It wasn't the dress that gave Sarah Beth a pause after seeing Gypsy. It was the long white gloves, the removal of which was a staple of a strip act in those days.

Exactly, Ritt, that was my point. Betty told her to wear the dress with long white gloves and Sara Beth said no, not after Gypsy. Sara Beth does not see herself as being able to carry off certain styles, most of which Betty's dresses are. She only borrowed the rather matronly blue flowered one and the black chiffon. No way would she feel comfortable wearing something that reminded her of a stripper, while Betty said she could turn that kind of thing on and off like a switch.

"Tilden Katz" - the name Don called himself when he, Freddie and Roger were trying to get into the gambling room. (In case anyone has forgotten, Tilden Katz is Rachel's husband.) That cracked me up!!
