Betty Will soon be Using Spoolies and Dippity Do!

Despite her incredible beauty - I see Betty starting to experiment with all the new products and lifestyle options soon to explode on the marketplace. As Don's philandering knows no limit, Betty will be testing the waters of life outside Ossining's lovely 'old town'. She's no stranger to the city and is having the crash course of wake-up calls. I see Don pulling the plug on the 'damn stables' and Betty will soon tire of piaffing through the afternoons. When November 1963 comes (and goes) I want to see this girl MOD and go Totally Carnaby Street! Any hope of this for Betty?

No, but I can see Betty as a secret pot smoker with a stash hidden someplace. hehe

Unfortunately, keeping in the context of her generation and class, Betty would most likely have a third child, buy a more expensive home, and get a prescription for "mother's little helper."

I wouldn't think Carnaby St. yet.
I will see her in more pants, and perhaps more casual. She will loose her hair dryer (the bonnet kind) and curlers, I hope. Her lipstick will be lighter.
Her heart will break from the assassination, and the loss of Jackie being in the forefront.
She might golf AND drink.
Betty can't do drugs yet. But I said in a prediction post that she will go bohemian with poetry and art.

I have wondered why we never see Betty with her hair in curlers with one of those fetching curler bonnets like my mother wore when she did her housework back then.

zerelda, Betty had her hair in curlers when she was talking to Francine in Season 1 (getting ready for Sally's birthday party)...and also I think she was wearing them in that epi when Don called and told her Roger was coming for dinner (and she gave him her steak and ate salad for dinner!!)---when she was chasing the kids down the hall and Don called to tell her...I seem to recall it that way, anyway.
I agree with everyone here--I like Betty and I'm glad she finally gave Don the boot so he can sit and chew awhile on just what he had and may not have anymore!

I can see Don's hair getting longer but not Elvisesque long.
I can't wait for the hem lines to go up, heh
Somehow the Mad Men will take credit for creating the craze of the last half of the Sixties or will it just be jumping on the bandwagon?
