Behind The Scenes

Obviously a lot of hard work goes on in the research department of this show. The show covers everthing from product references , social changes , office dynamics , marketing revolutions...etc etc.... this show is a facinating find! Does anyone know how to actually contact the show? Maby we can convince the writers to share some of their research. It would make the viewing experience so much richer.

.....check out this link.

http://www.amctv.com/videos/madmen/

there are a host of videos about mad men, including interviews with some of the mad men of the time.

you might find answers to some of your questions there, but it would be nice to see something more cohesive and in-depth.

were there dailies and interviews on the DVD sets?

I'd love to see if any of the producers or even the cast members read these blogs.

I just saw an interview with Bryan Blatt (Sal) on tvguide.com where he said he was urged to go on the blogs and read.

I would tell you what he said, but I want you to see it for yourself. He did say that they are about to film the final episode of the season and he was excited.

I have it on very good authority that people affiliated with the program monitor some of the Internet sites that deal with the show -- especially if the discussions are intelligent and thought provoking.
