what was the family of don draper told when he didn't return from korea?
middleagemom, I wondered that myself. A while ago someone posted that Don and Dick had a conversation in Korea where Don revealed he had no family. I don't remember it, and would have to go back and re-watch the episode. I know it was in season 1.
If the real Don Draper had family, wouldn't they have received notification of his war related injuries, and his receipt of a medal?
Maybe the mystery will be solved in a future episode.
