Interesting that Fox is taking a page out of AMC's playbook. I suppose imitation is the highest form of flattery...
I predict a surge of "60's" copycat shows next season over all the networks...I agree that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, Clayton...but we all know these will all be the palest of imitations of our Beloved Original ...MM!!
How funny that Episode 4 of Mad Men is also titled "New Amsterdam"...
Right now I'd take a second rate MM...can't get enough of this stuff. Why the late night time slot and 2 Breaking Bad's for every 1 MM?
I agree, polkadots. I've been trying to get my fiance to watch the episodes, but he doesn't have tivo, and they're never on at a convenient time. It's kinda sad--I'm the only person I know who actually watches this show, so I can't rant about my predictions to anybody without spoiling the show for them. Hopefully, more of my pals will pick up on it next season--I've been raving about it. Of course, all the episodes are posted on surfthechannel.com.
