Today the Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced its nominees for the 70th Golden Globe Awards, and Mad Men‘s Jon Hamm has once again been honored with a nomination in the Best Performance by an Actor, Drama category (which he won in 2007).

Hamm’s nomination — his fifth for Mad Men — is one of three Golden Globe nominations for AMC this year: Breaking Bad also landed a nod in the Best Drama Series category and Bryan Cranston will compete with Hamm in the Best Actor category.

Hamm and Cranston will face fierce competition for the Best Actor award: Steve Buscemi (Boardwalk Empire), Jeff Daniels (The Newsroom), and Damian Lewis (Homeland) are also nominated.

The awards will be announced at a ceremony broadcast live from the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles on Sun., Jan. 13 on NBC at 8/7c.
