Mad Men Nabs Three Golden Globe Noms – Best Series, Best Actor, and Best Actress

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced its nominees for the 68th Golden Globe Awards, and Mad Men has once again been honored with a few nominations: Best Television Series, Drama; Best Performance by an Actor for Jon Hamm; and Best Performance by an Actress for Elisabeth Moss.

Mad Men will be competing for the honor along with The Walking Dead (another AMC hit series), Boardwalk Empire (HBO), Dexter (Showtime), and The Good Wife (CBS). This is Mad Men‘s fourth consecutive Best Series nomination; it has won all three previous years.

This is also the fourth nomination for Hamm, who won in 2007. Hamm’s fellow nominees this year are Bryan Cranston (AMC’s Breaking Bad), Steve Buscemi (Boardwalk Empire), Michael C. Hall (Dexter), and Hugh Laurie (House). Moss’s competition includes Julianna Margulies (The Good Wife), Piper Perabo (Covert Affairs), Katey Sagal (Sons of Anarchy), and Kyra Sedgwick (The Closer).
