Mad Men Scores Two Creative Arts Emmy Wins

On Sat., Aug. 21 The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced the winners of the 2010 Creative Arts Emmys, and Mad Men was honored with two statues in the Outstanding Casting and Outstanding Hairstyling categories.
Laura Schiff and Carrie Audino were recognized for their casting work on the show, beating out fellow nominees Dexter (Showtime), Big Love (HBO), True Love (HBO), The Good Wife (CBS) and Friday Night Lights (DirecTV).
In the Hairstyling category, Lucia Mace (Head Hairstylist), Anthony Wilson (Key Hairstylist), Mary Guerrero (Additional Hairstylist), and Peggy Semtob (Additional Hairstylist) were honored for their work on Season 3's Episode 8, "Souvenir." Mad Men beat out Showtime's The Tudors and Tracy Ullman's State of the Union, Fox's Glee and ABC's Castle for the award.
The 62nd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards -- for which Mad Men has received nine nominations including Best Series, Best Actor (Jon Hamm) and Best Actress (January Jones) -- will air Sun., Aug. 29th at 8PM | 7C.
