GQ Gives November to January Jones; Tabs Cover Christina Hendricks's Wedding

Photos of January Jones in GQ, coverage of Christina Hendricks's wedding, and info about Janie Bryant's collaboration with Brooks Brothers were all big in the papers this week... Not to mention this week's recaps of Episode 309. Read on to hear more about a cover girl and a blushing bride. But first: Two items of note for Maddicts in NYC:
• This weekend marks the New Yorker Festival, and on the docket, a discussion about advertising. Mad Men series creator Matt Weiner is on the bill, although, alas, the event is already sold out.
• Even if you can't make it to the panel, New York-based fans can head over to Gallery 225 and check out their show "Where Have All the Mad Men Gone." The exhibit features proofs of ads from the '60s along with current art.
• January Jones struts her stuff on the cover of GQ this month. The NY Post previewed it, declaring: "There are about 8,000 quotes in GQ's November interview with January Jones that make me want to be best friends with the 'Mad Men' actress."
• Christina Hendricks's wedding last weekend in New York was covered in a number of outlets including the NY Daily News, People magazine and Us Weekly.
• News of Brooks Brothers' Mad Men suit was picked up in the New York Times, EW.com, and the LA Times, among other outlets.
• This week's recaps include the NY Times, the Wall Street Journal, the LA Times, NBC Los Angeles' blog, Time, New York magazine, TV Guide, and the Chicago Tribune, which notes: "for the first time, we're seeing real fear in Don's eyes."
• TV Squad ponders: "Despite his screw ups, Harry keeps his job. How?"
• The San Francisco Chronicle remarks about the show, "It stubbornly explores its own themes of existentialism and how hard a life is to live."
• Entertainment Weekly has opinions from both Ken Tucker and Karen Valby.
• The Star-Ledger has a number of insights, including, "Carla's no dummy; you can see from the instant she walks in on Betty and Henry that she wishes she hadn't."
• The Onion's AV Club recap notes it was "impressed by how well 'Wee Small Hours' worked Dr. King into the fabric of what the episode was about."
• A letter to the San Antonio Express' opinion page points out that actor Chelcie Ross is a Texan, just like the character he plays: Conrad Hilton.
