I am suffering from a serious case of disgruntlement brought on by a severe lack of Mad Men in my life. I do, however, anticipate a complete recovery come Sunday, August 16th, 9:00 p.m., Central Time.

My favorite scene is the angry moment in the bedroom where Don says to Betty: "You want me to bring home what I got at the office today...? I'll put you through that window!" Betty responds by "shoving" him hard in the chest...and Don comes back with his even harder shove (!!)...which knocks Betty back a couple of feet!!
I think this could have qualified as one of the "10 Most Shocking Moments." I know I was rivited -- I found it very real, and once you get over the shock of it --the scene produced a kind of pent-up release of raw emotion that was...well...you know, like a "bedroom scene." ( Wasn't it after this that they had their "scrubbed clean" middle-of-the-night talk when Betty wakes Don up on the sofa)?
Also, I saw an interview in which January Jones said that scene (the shoving scene) was "fun." Hhmmm....I'll bet...I mean I think I know what you mean, January!
Excellent recap of an incredible season. I will be forwarding this to friends interested in getting hyped-up for Sunday's premiere.
Watching the recap reminded me of how much I enjoy the Trudy/Pete/Peggy relationship/adoption troubles. I am curious to watch how their issues play out in season three.
Great recap of S2...my favorite gottcha moment was when Don tells Duck: "I don't have a contract". I think Duck needed some of his feathers plucked and Don was just the man to do it. Great writing and acting!

My favorite scene was at the merger after Don had left and Duck loses control of himself. The pregant pause while everyone absorbs what just happened was perfect. What made the scene a true standout though was after the pause when Roger asks "This wont affect the merger will it?". The question acknowledged that everyone in the room realized that Duck had made a fatal mistake, was off the team, and that they would be deferring to Don's vision if they moved forward without anyone having to say a thing out loud. Very well done.
