Elle Swoons for Jon Hamm; Bryan Batt's All Straight Talk With Out Mag

The return of Mad Men seems to be hitting a number of the monthlies now -- Elle, Nylon and Out all dedicated space to the show. Highlights (and links when we have them) are below:

Aaron Staton proves to be as happy-go-lucky as his counterpart Ken Cosgrove in this interview with Starpulse.

People's TV section has a video of John Slattery.

• Bryan Batt shares some small talk with Out magazine (Sep. issue, no link.) Question: "Could you have passed for straight...?" Answer: "Yes, but it would have taken some acting."

Nylon's is all about television this issue. Christina Hendricks and Vincent Kartheiser are in it, representing Mad Men. (Sep. issue, no link, but the beatific photo at right is from the spread.)

Elle magazine talks to Jon Hamm, calling him "A Man for All Reasons." You'll find part of it online here.

Time Out New York has put together a walking tour of Mad Men's New York, which includes stops at the Oyster Bar and the Roosevelt Hotel.

JH article in Elle: wow....love that pic! If I were Jen I think I'd hint around (the "time to get married" part of the interview) ~~ sounds like it's going to have to come from her!

I'll say Jon Hamm is a man for all reasons! I can't think of any reason to not adore him, and I am sure that he never looked like a teenager. If you think about it though, George Clooney did not start ot get the good roles until he was older so I think Jon's time is coming. He's getting great reviews for his understated performance as Don Draper, and I am sure he will start to get some offers for starring roles in A films soon. Not too soon, though, I want him on Mad Men for a few more seasons!
