Take a Video Tour of Mad Men's Costume Shop

Prepare for a glimpse of the treasures of the Mad Men universe -- the costume shop. Designer Janie Bryant walks through racks and racks of colorful clothing and reminds us that the '60s were when "people really had a good time dressing." For a close up of the chiffon and the glen plaid you've seen on the screen, and the mood boards that Bryant uses for inspiration, check out the video.

I own a vintage clothing store and have collected it and worn it for years, so the costumes are the icing on the cake for me! :) I have watched this show from day one. It's my favorite thing on tv. I love everything about it: the costumes, the actors, the storyline, the gorgeous way everything is shot. I'm so addicted. I dress 40s/50s/60s everyday and I want others to do so too. hehee You should! It's way more fun that modern clothing.
Thanks for the look into the characters' closets! I love the style and the fashions. And I really appreciate these behind the scenes looks! Thanks!
Dressing like this is fun if you don't have to wear a girdle and torpedo bra every day. ;)
Wonderful! Enjoyed the tour immensely.
I love it that so many of the clothes Joan and especially Betty wear are just like or similar to the ones my Mom wore in the '60's....so nostalgic and sentimental.
...Keep up the good work, Janie and Crew....your hard work is very much appreciated
Loved this behind the scenes view of the incredible talent on the show. I especially enjoyed the showcasing of the wonderful attention to detail and knowledge of the era. So inspiring. Many thanks!
Wow! So Don's suits are custom made. I absolutely love that blue sports coat he wears in the Jet Set episode.
But I have to admit, what I love more than the clothes is Janie Bryant's voice!
I was don draper for halloween last night... got all the ladies ;)
