Picture this, it's June 24th, I'm sitting in Shannon (IRE) Airport waiting to clear Customs and board my flight. I 'think' I see John Slattery. Knowing that he is Irish and from Boston I'm pretty sure it's him. The dead giveaway was the baseball cap pulled low over his eyes and several other people who kept looking at him and going hmmmm. I was dying to say hello and let him know how much I admire his work..but didn't because I wanted to honor his privacy. Alas, I didn't get to shake his hand and look into those baby blues...would have been the perfect ending to a glorious two weeks on the Emerald Isle! Oh, and did I tell you I was watching an episode of Mad Men on my iPod at the time?
