Mad Men Scores a BAFTA

Duck Phillips isn't the only one with fans across the pond: The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) recognized Mad Men as Best International Show at yesterday's British Academy Television Awards. It was the first time the series had been nominated for the British-Emmy equivalent, and was up against Dexter, The Wire and The Daily Show with Jon Stewart in the category.

The BAFTAs have nominated just about everything I love, from movies to TV shows and even video games, and I'm stoked that America's critical darling of a show has won raves across the pond as well. Here's to Mad Men winning that BAFTA!
I was so pleased that Mad Man won this award as it was in such good company, being up against The Wire and The Daily Show. I'm not surprised, it's definitely the best show on the UK networks at the moment without a doubt. It's just a shame it's on so late on BBC4, if it was on a little earlier I'm sure it would gain more viewers. Well done all, a brilliant brilliant show.
Shame that knowbody from the show turned up to collect it
Idris Elba was moaning on a UK chat show because the wire did not win at the BAFTA's and Mad Men did
