Wow, great article!

Bring on the MM inspired clothing line! All I have like Joan is the red hair (well, sort of her shape, but not quite that fabulous bustline!) but, I'd sure buy clothes KJB designed!

Did she win the Costume Guild award or is she just nominated and it hasn't happened yet..? Whichever, she surely deserves to win!

Ditto SCfan....it is a great article! LOVE Jane Bryant, what a tremendous talent, and really hope she wins the Costume Guild award on the 17th...boy, she really deserves it.

I can't help but think of all the clothes I gave to the Salvation Army over the years.....maybe they DID go to good use. {;-) What's that saying, "everything old is new again"..!

I also remember sewing my own 'sheath' dresses; all in different colors. They were so easy to make and I had a drawer full of Simplicity Patterns.

I have to confess that some episodes I have to watch twice because I can't keep my eyes off the ladies clothes......looking for stuff I remember wearing.

I had the identical necklace Joan wears...it was a pretty little lead pencil.....never used it and it turned into a conversational piece.

Janie Bryant will absolutely win the Costume Guide award...or certainly should. Her work is always fabulous...fabulous detail. Mad is lucky to have her.

I know silver! (giving things to the Salvation Army)
My Mom did that with her hats...so classic---pillboxes, adorable little cocktail hats, all kinds. Makes me sick now, but I was too young to realize what I was saying when she asked me if I wanted them back in the 80's...so dumb.

I'd give anything now to still have them (along with all those neat hatboxes!)
