Talk Forum and Comments - What You're Saying

AMCtv.com awards its Talk forum and blog commenters quoted in our weekly "What You're Saying" post with prizes like a Mad Men pen or a Mad Men poster (limit one per person).

Many Maddicts were chatting about Mad Men winning it's second consecutive Golden Globe for best drama last Sunday. 3onamatch was excited for the show's win but was also hoping January Jones and Jon Hamm could have won in their respective categories for Actress and Actor in a Drama Series: "I too was disappointed that Jon and January did not (deservedly) win their respective categories. However - it was fantastic to see the show win again for best show. BEST SHOW!!!"

When considering what Season 2 episode the Hollywood Foreign Press should have watched to make their pick for Best Actress, it was no contest for holottawoman: "'Meditations in an Emergency' would definitely be one of my top picks for submission if I was Peggy. Her confession to Pete at the end was a perfect delivery, no question."

Also weighing in viewing recommendations for the Golden Globe jury was TrudyIsAnnoying: "I would have to go with "Maidenform," episode 6. I feel that episode defined so much of what MM is about and the misconception that all women be a Jackie or a Marilyn, especially that killer opening with the ladies putting on their undergarments."

i knew madmen would win a golden globe again for matt's bergmenesque pefection !!!!!!!!!! i wanted january jones and jon hamm to win but they won with all the lovers of the show and i in our minds !!!!!!! the producer's award and sag award are great honors too !!!!!!!!!!

oh !!!!!!!! and by the way my father was the character of the man who let his irish setter out the door never to be seen again. that did not shock me because men thought like that in the 1960's !!!!!!!!!!!
