Mad Men Recognized by SAG for Second Straight Year
Mad Men has once again been nominated for Screen Actors Guild Awards. As with last year, Jon Hamm is a contender for best actor and the show is in competition for best ensemble. The series also earned a third nomination this year, for Elisabeth Moss in the best actress category.
Competition for Moss includes Sally Field (Brothers and Sisters), Mariska Hargitay (Law and Order: Special Victims Unit) and Kyra Sedgwick (The Closer).
Hamm will be up against Michael C. Hall (Dexter), Hugh Laurie (House), William Shatner (Boston Legal) and James Spader (Boston Legal).
The other ensemble casts in the running Boston Legal, Dexter, House and The Closer.
The SAG awards will take place on Sunday, January 25.

I think MM has a good chance of winning all their noms. The competition just isn't that great, or some have already won. MM is different than any of the cops, lawyers and Dr shows. Only Kyra Sedgwick (The Closer) deserves to win best actress, but I am hoping for "Peggy" to get it because her story is more compelling and resonates with women everywhere. Eliz.Moss isj just great.
