AFI and International Press Academy Both Recognize Mad Men
The kudos keep coming in for Mad Men.
On Sunday, the American Film Institute released its 2008 Top 10 list for movies and TV programs. Mad Men was one of two AMC shows selected this year; Breaking Bad was the other. Also on the list: In Treatment (HBO), Recount (HBO), John Adams (HBO), The Wire (HBO), Life (NBC), The Office (NBC), Lost (ABC) and The Shield (FX). The series received three nominations for the International Press Academy (IPA) 2008 Satellite Awards. John Slattery received a nomination for best supporting actor in a series, while Jon Hamm was recognized with a nod for best actor in a drama series.
