This month's Australian Cosmo includes an interview with January Jones; the series was just released Down Under on DVD. Says Jones about her character, Betty Draper: "She's a very spontaneous chick."

Speaking of Betty, she placed second in Entertainment Weekly's list of the most stylish television characters in 2008. Meanwhile, the look of the show is explored in this month's Interior Design magazine in an interview with set designer Amy Wells.

The nomination season kicked off with a Mad Men nod from the Writers Guild for best dramatic series. The series then went on to repeat its Golden Globe nominations for best dramatic series and actor in a dramatic series (Jon Hamm), while January Jones nabbed her first Globe nomination in the best actress category. Mad Men has also been honored with a nomination from the Producers Guild of America, and for the second time, made the American Film Institute's list of the Top 10 TV Programs.

Finally, the Screen Actor Guild once again recognized the cast with a nomination for outstanding performance in a drama series and singled out Hamm with an acting nod. Elisabeth Moss received her first SAG nomination in the actress category.
