Talk Forum - What You're Saying

Throughout Mad Men Season 2, AMCtv.com has awarded Talk forum commenters quoted in our weekly "What You're Saying" post with prizes like a Mad Men poster or a Mad Men Zippo (limit one per person).

Commenters this week are discussing the complicated relationship between Glen and Betty. "Glen is decidedly unusual," says Nevada. "And the interaction between Betty and him is walking a tight line. But, I think it just highlights Betty's sad situation." Iwishiwerejoan sees Glen as a reminder to Betty: "I get the whole mommy thing," the post says. "Betty has to be the 'grown up' and get rid of the little kid." Elle-elle, however, prefers to focus on the future for Glen: "I could see Sally growing up to look just like Betty, then Glen trying to date her for that reason only, and making it out of major obsession."

Meanwhile, fans are sharing their favorite moments from Season 2. "Roger gets all the best lines and they are delivered in such a deliciously dry style," says one Helen Bishop. "Don walks into his office and says to Roger, 'You wanted to see me?' and Roger responds, 'three weeks ago.'" Looooove Mad Men adds, "I looove Bobbie, the bitch to Don's dog. Loved her coaching Peggy to use her 'womanly wiles' to get ahead in business. Love that Bobbie's an old broad with a kid in college and still gettin' it on!" Fancynancy praises "the genuine tenderness between Pete and Peggy and between Don and Betty at the end of Season 2. It proved to be intoxicating."
