Jon Hamm Is Sexy (People), Stylish (InStyle) and Funny (TV Guide)

People may have named Hugh Jackman as 2008's Sexiest Man Alive, but Jon Hamm also made it onto the magazine's annual list. "I try to be a good person. I'm loyal and I'm trustworthy. I'm kind," he tells the publication. "And I'm a really good driver."

Hamm's also included as one of InStyle's "Men of Style." His girlfriend Jennifer Westfeldt says, "Jonny makes me laugh more than anyone on the planet. And after more than 10 years together, he still makes me weak in the knees. What's better than that?" When asked how he fits so well into Mad Men's era, Hamm credits his father for giving him a sense of the period.

"My dad also wore suits in every color -- and ties! And he had boxes of tie bars, lighters, money clips and watches -- amazingly cool vintage stuff that I would love to have now." Hamm praises his mother, who "celebrated learning. She died when I was 10, but while she was alive, she made sure I tried a lot of different things violin, soccer, creative writing."

And just in case you thought Hamm is only being recognized for his looks, TV Guide weighs in with its list of Saturday Night Live's "Best Apolitical Skits," including two from the show he hosted: the Mad Men parody ("surprise guests John Slattery, Elisabeth Moss and a couple a-holes really sold the sketch") and the Vincent Price routine ("sweetened with Kristen Wiig's Gloria Swanson and Hamm's James Mason").

Jennifer and Jon should get married. If they still love each other after "being together" for 10 years, why not?...think of the gorgeous kids they would have!

oh well...I think it's still "in" in Hollywood to have your kids first and then when they're old enough they can be the flower girl/ring bearer at your wedding! lol

"Weak in the knees," huh? I'm so relieved to find out I have the Jon Hamm Syndrome and won't be needing knee replacement surgery after all.

Over the years I've found that I couldn't live with a man who didn't have a sense of humor. It's a wonderful thing to share together. It will keep two people close when the going gets tough. And the second thing is the ability to laugh at yourself, not take it too seriously when you trip over yourself sometimes. I wish them both much happiness with Jon's new found success and lots of laughs along the way.
