Mad Men series creator Matt Weiner and the cast explain the meaning of "Meditations in an Emergency," and why they are giving confessions a chance to come out.

Wow. Weiner's dissection of the plot is almost as impressive as the show, if that's possible.
Last nights episode really hit me on different highly personal levels-- the conversation between Pete and Peggy could've taken place between my bio parents; the season ending dinner table scene evoked an idealized reconciliation that never happened; and Don's heartfelt love for Betty was as convincing as anything I've ever seen in the cinematic format.
2.13 was by far the most poignant episode to date. And yes, I'm sure I wasn't the only one to draw the 9/11-Cuban Missile Crisis corollary.
I love the way this show is filmed. All the "pregnant" pauses - the really take time to let a scene play out. It's almost like it's happening in real time - never rushed.
While you can probably recite every one of Roger's one-liners (When God closes a door...), how much do you know about John Slattery, the actor delivering those zingers?

That scene with Pete & Peggy was a killer. It's cool to hear Elisabeth Moss talk about it.
