Talk Forum - What You're Saying
Throughout Mad Men Season 2, AMCtv.com will award Talk forum commenters quoted in our weekly "What You're Saying" post with prizes like a Mad Men mug or a Mad Men poster (limit one per person). Keep commenting on the forum, and you may be one of next week's lucky recipients.
The Talk forum this week mourned the loss of Chauncey. "The dog was brilliant," said Sizzie. "How else could the writers so succinctly show that Duck was throwing away all he loved in his life in favor of having a drink?" Auburn Annie, however, was more hopeful: "I'm not worried about Chauncey," the post said. "First, there was no squeal of tires followed by a thud so he didn't run straight into traffic."
Meanwhile, Don's mysterious mental break at the end of the episode had commenters curious. "Sickness of soul, I'd say," said regertz. "His daughter's adoring look destroyed him." Dry Manhattan posited, "Why am i the only one who thought, for a split-second, that Draper was having a stroke?" Swanky K considered this: "At first I thought he was going to have an heart attack, but then I got it that he really didn't like what he saw in the mirror."
Log onto the Talk forum to join in these conversations and to discuss Sunday's all-new episode, or to start a Mad Men topic of your own.

Well what about those comeuppences??? Had a feeling the Barrett was up to something when he called at the end of the show last week. And he dangled a very big carrot to get them both there at the same time so he could drop his bomb. That was a breathtaking confrontation.
Now Joan got hers by the little upstart 20 year old. And frankly, she deserved what she got in spades.
Congrats, Sizzie, Auburn Annie, regertz, Dry Manhattan, and Swanky K!!!
Tell us which prize you guys chose!
Myself, I kinda like that cool mug. The poster would be nice, too, though...
