In Manhattan, You Can Ride the Rails with Mad Men

Commuter alert! Mad Men has taken over a NYC subway train for the month of July. The shuttle -- between Times Square and Grand Central, the same station to which Don Draper commutes from Ossining -- is now redecorated with life-size images of Jon Hamm as Draper, quotes from the first season ("What you call love was invented by guys like me to sell nylons") and faux marble interiors that evoke Beaux-Arts grandeur.
It's all part of AMC's marketing effort that's meant to "give people a sense of Don Draper and his world and to present Mad Men as distinctive, cinematic, beautiful and complex," according to Linda Schupack, AMC's Senior Vice President of Marketing. Grand Central was chosen as a focal point "both for its iconic stature and as a transition between worlds: work and home, the familiar and the new," she adds.
If you're in the city and need to travel along 42nd Street, hop aboard!
