Mad Men series creator Matt Weiner and the cast of the show take inventory of where everyone's lives have picked up after the end of last season, and where the series will go from here.
Put this video of Inside Mad Men - For Those Who Think Young on your blog:
AM I imagining or did Don gain some of the weight Peggy lost? Don/Jon Hamm seemed so "buff" last season but his middle seems thick this year...True? Intentional? Is it a prosthetic like Peggy's pregnancy? (Although it did not seem like a fake bod in the hotel room scene.)
Also, Props- the glassware seems more authentic to period this year. I am a serious collector of vintage kitchenware and when there are props out of period it is a real "sore thumb" for me. (Season 1-The juice glass & dishware on the mother's day tray did not match the rest of the Draper kitchen stuff & it bugged me. Also-Season 1-DID love, in the closing episode slide show, that the shot of Betty holding the baby had her against the wooden federal -style headboard in the pilot and not the aqua upolstered one shown in the rest on the season.)
Props, Season 2-VD day episode-Trudy & Paul's napkin rings are too modern, even for them. And the continuity is off on the position of the napkin ring late in that scene. Sorry but your fan base must be many sixties afficionados...we scrutinize!
BUT loved the montage of various sixties TV's showing Jackie touring the White House.
Casting.. Is that "Everwood's" Sarah Drew in a cameo as Sal's wife?
While you can probably recite every one of Roger's one-liners (When God closes a door...), how much do you know about John Slattery, the actor delivering those zingers?
