The stars of Mad Men came out to celebrate on Monday, June 16 as the show was presented a Peabody Award at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in Manhattan. The mission of the Peabody Awards are to honor the most outstanding achievements in electronic media, including radio, television and cable. In recognizing Mad Men, the organization noted that the show is "as sharp as the creases in the two button suits, as precise as a narrow-knotted tie, as wry as the rye on a bar."

After the awards ceremony, the cast gathered at the Museum of Modern Art for a reception and a private screening of the first episode of Season 2. Click through for photos from the reception.

Woweee, the gang is looking better than ever! Dig those legs on January Jones! And those adorable bowed black stillettos (sp?) The dress looks a bit like a cocktail waitress in the "60's" (appropriate, I guess!) but, let's face it, she could wear a "gunny sack" and still look great. Nice to see the Slatterys there, too. And I bet Jennifer Westfeldt (sp?) would like an engagement ring on that left ring finger soon, wouldn't you???!! Mr. Hamm looks cute and sexy with that tousled and decidedly UN-Brylcreamed hair! Great pics! Can't wait for the 27th of next mo.
