On Saturday, February 9, the Writers Guild of America announced the winners of this year's WGA Awards, naming Mad Men the Best New Series of 2007. The award honors the series as a whole rather than a specific episode. Writers for the first season include Lisa Albert, Bridget Bedard, Andre Jacquemetton, Maria Jacquemetton, Tom Palmer, Chris Provenzano, Robin Veith, and Matthew Weiner.

That makes two Golden Globes, one Directors Guild Award, and one Writers Guild Award. Not bad.
