Jon Hamm Named Sexiest Man by Salon.com
In their second annual feature, Salon.com has selected Mad Men's Jon Hamm as one of the Sexiest Men Living.
The Salon staff notes, "Watching AMC's Mad Men is a sensual feast. Matthew Weiner's devotion to getting 1960 right means we feel Joan's girdle and Peggy's scratchy dresses, taste the rye and the steak and the oysters, glory in the pastels of Betty's peignoirs; our eyes water at the end of every episode from all that cigarette smoke. The sexual politics are remarkable; the sex is even more interesting, and the hot center of it all is Jon Hamm, who plays Sterling Cooper creative director Don Draper, haunted, predatory, at the top of his game, miserable."

Thank you, thank you, for another season of Mad Men coming in '08. Having worked in an ad agency in the 60's, Iowa was sure not N.Y., but close. Haven't noticed any TV ads in the script?
I absolutely cannot WAIT for the 2008 season of Mad Men.
Magnificent!
How about I send you guys' a treatment about the first black secretary who shakes up Sterling Cooper?
And please put full episodes of Mad Men online for everyone to watch!

Sexiest Man Living?? They'll get no argument from me! Where the heck has this hunk been all my life??? WOW...sigh
Well, at least one magazine got it right. If People blew the sexiest guy on cable category, that would have been the end of that subscription.
Sexiest Men, sure, he is handsome and very strong.
Props to Salon for getting it right.
Thanks Salon.com!! Jon Hamm is the Sexiest Man alive/living/breathing!! Well it sure isn't Matt Damon!!
Cracks me up when bloggers try to compare Mad Men with The Sopranos. Brilliant writing both, I agree, but geez, there was not one piece of eye candy in The Sopranos. The "hero" is a fat, bald, gnome-ish looking violent criminal. The only similarities between Tony Soprano and Don Draper is they both have 'mommy issues' which leads to their chronic infidelity.
Well done, Salon.

Nothing wrong with Matt Damon...but then again, who really DOES stand a chance against (no pun intended?) our delicious HammyMan!
