About Yael: "Yael is new to Los Angeles. Her loves are great television and film, hiking the Hollywood hills, good books, and self-deprecation. She fits right in!"

Once again I say - SUPERB!
Loved her!
Hey Nora Paradiso,
From reading your statement and seeing your profile where you claim some original music was stolen, and the fact that Yael was 4th place in the preliminary round after less than a week, I have some conclusions:
1. You are jealous - seems she has real talent while you don't.
2. You are simple minded.
3. You are paranoid.
4. You are not very intelligent...
Some of these are treated with therapy, others by pills...I believe you require a combination of the two.
Oh yeah...and Nora,
From seeing the things you commented positively on - you have no taste.
You were ok but not for winning.
You looked down and closed your eyes too much, and worked too hard at it. That was distracting.
Ditto to giladwas's list. Nora Paradiso, no one stole your music. You are sad and jealous. This is a fun contest for fans of Mad Men. It a positive idea and all in fun. I feel sorry for you.
Yael:) I reall enjoyed your performance - great work - very subtle and heartfelt - I thought you were very REAL & interesting:) Good Luck to you:)
Avis Wrentmore - - please view mine entry if you have a sec:)
gilad was,
Mind your own business. This was not directed to you and I have not made any comments about you. So where do you get off attacking someone and things you don't know?
Yael- Nice work. This is exactly how these lines make sense to be delivered. Not overstated or overacted or over-sexed. Very sincere and real.
Ok, a message to all the commenting voters:
Please, for the love of the show and respect of the finalists who have given this competition their all, please, stay focused on the performances and not the commentary drama. Leave Nora (and all comments like hers) alone! Certainly feel free to counter comments you disagree with, but don't take that as an opportunity to trash the commenter. The banter over Nora has started to overshadow and diminish the fun of the contest! All these actors deserve better from us. Thank you!
Lou Al Cinder,
You just made a viable negative comment on one of the videos. Am I supposed to tell you to leave the site and don't come back?
Great work Yael!
The wonderful thing about art in my opinion, is that it's open to interpretation. Sometimes the art can be offensive and other times the interpretation can be offensive. But one aspect remains constant and true. It takes courage to be an artist. I applaud your work and your bravery. This is just the beginning and I look forward to seeing more great things from you in the future. Congrats on making the finals. You are in excellent company. Well done.
Wonderful job. I just want to say that it takes real guts for anyone to enter a contest like this one. Especially non actors/amateurs. C'mon people, let's just all have some fun with this contest, and celebrate a wonderful show we're lucky to have on TV. Keep in mind that the nonactors on here = amateur = for the love of it (loosely translated). For those who think this is the shot of their career will be sadly disappointed and are completely missing the point! Congratulations to everyone who has made the finals. You all deserve to be here. Thank you for spreading the Mad Men word!
Yael Wasserman seems like she fits right into the MM cast.
She and Jacob Crumbine are on an equal par with me.
FYI, cowardly and shameful Nora Paradiso is now going by the name "justwondering" with a new photo.
SOO GOOD!!
Yael,
Really strong and solid performance. I think January Jones should feel a little nervous in case they ever think of recasting. :-) It's an honor to be a finalist along with you.
Justin
I love Yael's vulnerability in the Betty Draper character. It is complex and nuanced and filled with the kind of suggestive silences that makes for perhaps the most intriguing part in the entire show (IMHO)
That's what i really dig about the way she presents the character - the awkward silences and the uncomfortable way she shifts her body. It all speaks volumes about the crisis that Betty Draper's trying so hard not surface.
That was a great performace. You really remind me of Natalie Portman with in this piece.
Kudos.
Goodluck, Yael! Great video! So well done!
This comes a bit late, but this, to my mind, was the best performance. (Well, I did love Justin's, but his is a winning performance because he rendered it completely transparent, which is hard enough to do...) Yael is an amazing voice actor, the swallowed "she" at the beginning of "she passed away recently" is wonderfully exact. Some of the gestural and facial expression could be a bit more muted. But I was quite struck by the vocal precision and the textual work underlying it and making it appear so effortless. I really hope Yael is using her considerable talent.
