About Nathaniel: "Nathaniel is a copywriter at a San Francisco ad agency. His favorite monster is Wolfman and his favorite ice cream is mint chip."

Disgracefully hilarious and original!
I like this video. And I like mint chip ice cream too.
This ws a disgrace. Go to another show calling for vampires. How can Mad Men accept this as an entry even. This is desperate. Not a win!!!!!!
It was close for me, but I chose Nathaniel's video because it was very original. He didn't simply mimic the show. And it was funny (especially the mummy "eh hem, I should probably go..." ha). Pretty well acted, and well produced as well. Hope he wins.
Ms. Paradiso, this contest can do without your pent up anger and negativity. You didn't make it to the finals. End of story. Perhaps your time would be more efficiently spent preparing for future auditions to add to your long list of uncredited roles you have attempted since 1989. Mr. Lawlor, kudos to you for making it to the finals. It is well deserved. I like mint chip, too.
Nathaniel:) this was one of my favorites:) So great and I love the mummy - really funny moment): Good Stuff
Good Luck - check mine out too :)

Bravo! I can see you as the new young hire on the creative team...dressed as any of the three characters you created, or as your undoubtedly handsome self. Sterling Cooper could use a guy like you!
Really funny, and a great lampoon. I think most of the madmen fans take this show to serious. So you get my vote. If you can do this you can definitely do a walk on role.
Love the creative ones best! Thanks for bringing some fun to this contest!
Wow! This was by FAR the best scene from the show. I'm a huge fan, and I have to say this was the only video that took such a creative approach to interpreting the scene. Some of the other videos are okay, but they simply try to regurgitate the original, but they miss painfully. Fantastic job Nathaniel!!!
FYI, cowardly and shameful Nora Paradiso is now going by the name "justwondering" with a new photo.
Nathaniel,
I've always enjoyed this entry. So f---in' creative. I love it. It's an honor to be a finalist with you.
Good Luck,
Justin
Seriously? This is a bad first semester film school shoot.
This is my favorite. It's original.
If creativity and quality of finished product are factors in the judging, you'll win this hands down. Stay Gold.
Bravo! I laugh everytime and have shared your video with many friends. You really possess the spirit of this competition. Fun. good luck. t
One of my favorites!! Good luck!
Great job! Congrats on making it to the finals! I laugh everytime I watch it! :) You got my vote! Best of luck! -Ashley Carper
Uh... Ashley, you did not even vote for his video. So why say "you got my vote"? (It shows on your user page who you voted for.)
I truly hope the judges of this contest ignore the votes altogether and pick the winner solely on creativity and performance, because the voting is a sham. This entry is truly original. But it can't compete with 1600 votes that some videos are receiving. Do the guys who got all those votes seriously believe that the editors of Mad Men will believe that those votes were received from the AMC community? Please...
Eh... who cares. Of course people are going to do whatever they can to get mass votes. If I had the means, I'd probably do it too. The producers of Mad Men know the score. They'll pick the one that deserves it.
(pssst... producers. I REALLY want to meet January Jones... you know... if that makes any difference.)
Dude’s getting robbed. I say three roles should equal three times the votes. His Wolfman’s touching vulnerability got me all teary-eyed. And he’s getting out-voted by mere mortals? There are plenty of people acting like monsters on Mad Men, I say it’s time to start casting monsters to play monsters! So vote for Nate, because it’s time to bring the monsters out of shadows and shine the light of multicultural truth upon this often ignored subculture. Except Dracula, don’t go shining a light on him.
Um CG- how about you know your facts before you start going around accusing people of lying? I did vote for this video, I actually voted for my 3 favorites. On your profile it shows the last video you voted for.....just a little FYI!
Funny movie. Got my vote. I hope Sheriff John Brown doesn't do a background check on me to see what other videos I voted for.
Smart! Funny pacing.
Creative. That's key here as far as I'm concerned. You and Trilby and Justin have not merely replicated the original characters. Great job!
Like your video, like mint chip. Was getting bored of the character copycats. Only a few videos on here actually did something different.
Best of luck, Nathaniel! So glad you made the finals. I have enjoyed your video and creativity. I love mint chip, too!
I knew I'd see you in the finals. This is the most inventive entry out of everyone in my humble opinion. I continue to laugh every time I watch. Thank you for making this competition so much fun! Good luck Nathaniel!!
Dear Mr. Lawlor,
You have always been one of my favorite competitors!
I would happily assist all three of your monsters with any secretarial duties they require.
I have already put together my completed check list for you:
- Drain a pig of its blood for Dracula.. Done.
-Invest in 1000 triple weaved toilet paper for Mummy..Done
- Remove all wolfsbane from the office...Done
Dutifully Yours,
The Perfect Secretary
This is a smart and creative entry. He gets my vote for several reasons.
1) Very creative interpretation of the scene. The costumes are wonderful too. I think his was the first entry to take the scene out of the mad men set and do something interesting with it.
2) Good performance, especially playing all three parts. Great timing.
3) Hilarious. Love the mummy character added in, gives a funny twist to the whole story.
4) Quality of the finished product is pretty damn good. Well shot and edited.
5) He's a real coppywriter! How cool is that? Get him on the show.
Nathanial Lawlor is a comedic genius. And one sexy vampire...
Nathaniel,
There were a few great entries in the final round, and a few that were below par, but obviously got a lot of votes. Your video didn't get 2000 votes, but it deserved to make it to the final round, so congratulations.
I personally hope you win. I think your video was really great and made this whole contest a little less serious and a little more fun. For me, this was about getting real people a chance to be on a terrific show, something they would not normally be able to do, not to give Hollywood part time actors a chance for tryouts. Good luck, I guess we'll know who won any day now.
