Over-dramatic and makes her sound more like a lady of the night more than anything else. The creativity of taking thee character somewhere new is there, but thats about it.

A different take on the character. Nice to see rather than the usual.

I think this is a totally fresh take on Betty's character with just a dash of Joan thrown in for good measure. I would love to see this lady on the small screen. I hear she is also a lounge singer which could play well into the story line.
