I looooooved the way you interpreted this dialogue! So different but so spot-on and believable. Great job!
Now that's acting. Totally believable.
Great choice and interpretation.
this is really REALLY good.
I think if you were more grounded and less nervous, you could have been more powerful. It seemed like you didn't know what you were talking about.
Love the lighting. I agree with some of the other posts--very original interpretation.
Kudos - Very nice.
He has the best screen presence of them all. Now can they make an interesting part for him, remember this is 1960?
Or is this just a tiny non speaking thing?
Great work! Love it.
Great job you are a naturl for sure!
I agree with everyone.. interesting interpretation. You're definitely a natural-born speaker and a joy to watch.. on a side note, you'd make a great sports announcer or news anchor!
Excellent interpretation; very polished and professional! Would love to see how they would work this good looking, smart, and articulate young man into to a Mad Men story line.
Spot on, Mr. Manning. You nailed it across the board. The look and feel is awesome. Keep up the great work!
WOW! I loved the way you focused on an imaginary Peggy as you spoke to her with conviction and a hint of sarcasm. You nailed it!!!
Would totally love to see you in a cameo role on Mad Men!
You were excellent and are very handsome..as a nice bonus. Nice role. Enjoyed it. Well done. Joy to watch.
Head and shoulders above the others thus far. I'm sure we all will be seeing you in pictures...
Believable and original, dude. Awesome!
Hands down and thumbs up this is an awesome example of real acting.
Great voice!
Robbie, you are great! Loved your delivery! Quite impressive! Keep up the good works! Will see you on the big screen soon. Mr. Johnson. Your father's school chum. Old Campbell High!
Excellent!
Great work, Robert! Best on the site.
where do i vote??? i'm trying to vote for Robert MANNING, he's a natural talent.
Good job, Mr. Manning. It was a joy to listen to someone who made a script sound so believable. Great voice!
Very talented! Great work.
Like 'The Dark Knight,' I just had to watch it twice. Nice job.
Robert, I assume you are the "blkactor" that left the nice comment over on my video. Same-same back at you. No matter how non-specific the dialogue is, it still takes imagination to find a way to make a shift in genders work. Even if I do say so myself. See you on the set.
You make this work 100%. love your interpretation.
Again, you guys (ie you an Mr. Don P) who interpreted this role realy ROK! Both you and Mr Don Puglsey are phenom! THANK YOU FOR DOING THE CREATIVE INTERPRETATION !!! WHY ARE YOU NOT IN PICTURES YET?????
Robert...I dropped your name in a comment I posted on my video's site. I hope you don't mind...DON
Not at all Don. Thank you for your comment. I thought I was being incognito, but alas you are very intuitive. I left a more in depth thank you on your comments. Thanks again.
To all that have left comments regarding my posting, thank you very much. I accept the positive and negative with graciousness and humility. It's a blessing to have anyone comment on your work. Thank you for taking the time to vote and comment. Please take the time to view my friends' postings: Jennifer O'Kain and Scott Fernstrom. We did them at the same time, in my living room, and I am a huge fan of their work.
Great job. You were very convincing, and I love your nuances in the dialogue. I wouldn't be surprised to see you on the silver screen after this entry.
Perfect diction! Perfect presentation! Confidence personified -- were there a "John Holloway", he'd be it! Had me convinced.....
Bravo!

This is one of the better ones as far as acting goes. Maybe even the best one. It makes sense considering he is a professional actor. He's really quite good, I'll give him that. And I like the reinterpretation of the scene a lot. It's one of the few that actually did something creative instead of just mimicking the original scene, which is boring to me. It was a close call, but I gave my final vote to the dracula and wolfman interpretation of Roger Sterling. This would be my second choice, though.
This was definitely the most professionally shot video I've seen. Impressive and loved the work and interpretation. Wish you could put it on your reel. Hope some people that can help you get to see it!
great job!
Dear Robert,
I would send all of my aspiring secretarial students to you if they wish to work for the President.
You are marvelous!
