ABOUT THE CONTEST
AMCtv.com invites you to submit an audition video clip of pre-selected lines from Mad Men Season 2. These monologues were originally spoken by one of the following characters: Don Draper, Roger Sterling, Pete Campbell, Joan Holloway, Bobbie Barrett, and Jimmy Barrett. Click here to watch the original performances.
PRIZE
The Grand Prize winner will win a chance at a walk-on role in Mad Men Season 4. Round trip airfare to Los Angeles, CA plus hotel accommodations will be provided for the Grand Prize winner and a guest. Ten First Prize winners will each receive a Mad Men Season 2 DVD set.
JUDGES
Mad Men's executive producer/writer Matthew Weiner will select the Grand Prize Winner.
Registered AMCtv.com members vote for and comment on their favorite entries to determine finalists.
The 20 entries to receive the highest number of votes enter the final round.

I think when you win you should be careful the other contestants don't feel bad about themselves. You should go up to each of them and ask what they do for a living ... if, say, they work at a restaurant, you should say, "Well there you go. I bet you flip burgers and serve fries way better than I ever could."
Also you should say that your talent is God-given. That way you take no credit, and seem humble.

To me, the greatest and most majestic form of acting is seeing your child in their first school play. To see the child performing for the audience, the parent's tears welling up, beaming as they watch them on stage ... I think they really deserve academy awards for pretending to like such a horrible revolting performance.
