default userpic

Fantastic!

default userpic

Congratulations on making it to the top 20. Solid performance, a directors dream!

user-pic

Nice look, confident delivery

default userpic

The pearls, the dress, the hair, the dismissive tone.
Love it!

user-pic

Acidic delivery, I'm burning up!

default userpic

It's a party, and we are all voting for Morgan!
She is terrific and hard to believe with this monologue, but she is funny too! In fact hilarious!

default userpic

Your light is shining, keep up the good work

default userpic

It's always better the second time around and so is Morgan's performance.

default userpic

A breath of fresh air......

default userpic

You will make it to the top 10!

default userpic

....and then there were 10.....:)

default userpic

Got the email and I'm back. Still feeling this as a professional performance. She is educated, watch this girl and remember her..

default userpic

A controlled and controlling woman..that's our Bobbie!

default userpic

Star power is written all over this actor.

default userpic

God, how I detest being called dear...it's so patronizing and she does it so well...

default userpic

Leading Lady Material

default userpic

Dazzling and Exceptional

default userpic

Chilling! Sign this actor for the next Twilight film!

default userpic

Mahvelous!!

default userpic

Awesome performance! Definite Finalist material!

default userpic

And the winner is......Morgan Elizabeth Cox.
Star Quality all the way

user-pic

Still diggin this one. She's "On The Road" to stardom.
Like WOW man!

default userpic

There's no place like Mad Men and this actor belongs there.
Love the show, everything about it. Thanks for the quality programming. Courage, Heart and Brains all in one beautiful package...Morgan Elizabeth Cox.

default userpic

The east coast contingent, we're voting for Morgan Cox. Loved her in Tommy Flowers, Company, Dr. Morgan and so many other performances. Let's see her on the big screen!

default userpic

Stellar performance! You would be severely remiss to NOT cast her!

default userpic

extraordinary and exhilarating...thank you

default userpic

unforgettable presence and poise. I really love this one, in the top 5

default userpic

Beautiful girl, amazing skin, piercing eyes and riveting delivery. Keep up with the great work, I know it's tough out there. Been there, done that. I am rooting for you!

user-pic

And the Oscar goes to...Morgan Elizabeth Cox!

default userpic

What is underneath this icy exterior and know it all persona? I want to know more about this mystery woman who is so in charge of herself and the situation.

user-pic

An actors, actor. Great diction and stunning presence.
This girls a winner!

default userpic

Nothing fancy with the filming, but fantastic acting work. Hope she makes the top picks. Good luck!

default userpic

So classy and professional. She has such talent ... and the "look" is down pat! Good luck!

user-pic

Editing is an editors skill, lighting is the cinematographers, composition is the set designer. Acting is the domain of the actor and no amount of fancy production values can enhance a bad performance. This actor takes the exceptional writing of Mad Men, the delicious character of Bobbie, applies her own skills and talent, puts a brittle spin on it and makes it work! Well Played Performance!!

default userpic

Hola, loco hombres! La chica es bonita!

default userpic

This is still my favorite. Several of the other entrants are a lot of fun, with great editing and comical, creative spins. I just like the acting in this. This actor has intention and motivation and it draws me in. Besides that, I like assertive women.

default userpic

Memorable and stunning....this is a keeper

default userpic

Still loving this classy performance...thank you Mad Men for such a great show.

default userpic

The devil is in the details and she also wears pearls!

default userpic

This is one of the "ladies who lunch". Not much going on other than an unhappy marriage, a relationship going nowhere, her wealth and percieved status and a whole lot of laughable unsolicited self-serving advice. Man, I love to hate her.....and Morgan Elizabeth as Bobbie raises those hackles on the back of my neck...GREAT INTERPRETATION!

default userpic

Larger than life, she's done her job "powerfully" and "correctly". A mesmerizing transformation. This performance and your great show are a real pleasure to watch. Keep up the great work!

default userpic

So cruel.... the curling red mouth, this woman is a vampyre!

default userpic

You're the one. :)

default userpic

A spirited performance, brittle, yet vulnerable....where is the vulnerability? It's in the exit...she can't hang around for the retort..if there is one.

user-pic

Beautiful girl, wonderful performance, really, really, really icy. Sends chills up and down my back. The Tingler!

default userpic

An actor of outstanding quality and class. Sign her up!

default userpic

I'm really hating this character....a testimont to the actors skill....it's a morbid fascination, can't take my eyes off of her.

default userpic

The ultimate in female put downs....."you do know what I'm saying dear"...then the cough and exit. Wow!

default userpic

so cool and calm, like an ocean breeze....a tsunami hiding below the surface

default userpic

You deserve to be featured on Mad Men, it's a quality show and you are a quality professional. Truly, one of a kind and the 21st century "That Girl."

default userpic

Action, cut and print! All roads lead to Mad Men for this actor.

default userpic

A beauty with talent....what else matters?

default userpic

You have superhuman persistence, stay focused.
xoxoxoxoxox

default userpic

Bringing it home and doing the most with the least amount of resources.....bravo to you!

default userpic

An intelligent performance of an alpha female by an alpha female. Takes one to know one. :)

default userpic

An intelligent performance of an alpha female by an alpha female. Takes one to know one. :)

default userpic

stunning and crisp delivery. would like to see more of this talented and gloriously beautiful pro

default userpic

This actor knows her character, understands her motivations and inhabits her physicality...all around brilliant 45 seconds, I enjoyed every bit of it. Thanks Morgan!

default userpic

Still fabulous!

default userpic

You have a great spirit and charism...keep up the wonderful work. You look terrific.

default userpic

A poised, confident and class act.

user-pic

This is the beginning of a significant career... loving this entrant and interpretation.

user-pic

A character with a confident, "don't mess with me, end of discussion" attitude. A women to be reckoned with and I am scared of her.

user-pic

An NYC Mad Man here. The show is great and you have captured the essence of those frenetic days. I know, because I WAS Don Draper and Morgan's Bobbie interpretation is right on. Morgan captures the thinly veiled anger of an unfulfilled woman.....too many smart women like Bobbie back in the 60's. Underemployed, underappreciated and dependent on their fading looks and
"womanly wiles".

default userpic

Impeccable, delicious and oh so icy and patronizing...what a great characterization

default userpic

Very elegant and stylish...one of the best

default userpic

a magical and affecting performance....

default userpic

Very, very effective. Simple and yet devilishly composed. I dig it.

default userpic

Love it!! You are awesome!

default userpic

Fantastic...this girl was made for Mad Men!

default userpic

This is the full package deal! Beauty, brains, and bite! Lol. And I have a feeling this actress is capable of a lot more that we're seeing in this little snippet! I say, let us see more Morgan!

default userpic

refreshing talent, this one is a star

default userpic

The pearls are perfect, the red lipstick is just the right shade of red to match the rather venomous Ms. Bobbie Barrett as played by the spirited Ms. Morgan

default userpic

Acerbic, acidic and dead sexy....only a man like Don Draper can handle this woman!

default userpic

Focused and deadly, would not want to meet her in a dark alley

default userpic

I'm a Mad Man for this one. Great show, great performance by Morgan.

user-pic

So chilling, she must have been one of the mean girls at Miss Porters.

default userpic

A filly that could tame this bucking bronco! I love a woman with spirit and fire

default userpic

I heard this slice of film was done with minutes of preparations as the actress only learned of the opportunity at the last minute. Yet, she mastered the nasty, unlikable character.

default userpic

There is only one word to describe this...SCRUMTRALECENT!

default userpic

Snappy Senorita...

default userpic

Oops! Ha. I just left my comment on someone else's video! Oh well:) THANK YOU everyone for your votes and comments. This competition is getting intense and I am so excited to have made it this far. I am shooting for the TOP 10! Love to you all...mwah!!

default userpic

She is a real talent. How can she not have a future? Best of luck.

default userpic

A viper in sheath's clothing....sting!

default userpic

The Ferocity of a woman scorned...you are FIERCE!

default userpic

Amazing!

default userpic

Love it!

default userpic

Fabulous, Morgan! Good luck!

default userpic

She's the best! If she doesn't get on the show then I'm going to stop watching because they need her!!!!

default userpic

Morgan, you are amazing!!! They have to put you on the show or I will stop watching!!! MADMEN NEEDS MORGAN!!!!!

default userpic

Timeless beauty ...

default userpic

Take it all the way, Morgan! You're amazing!

default userpic

Thank you! Thank you! THANK YOU! :):):)

default userpic

A RARE TALENT

Beauty, humility, humour, gratitude, compassion, emotion, intellect and she can sing too!

MAD MEN, DON'T MISS OUT ON THIS UNIQUE ACTOR!

default userpic

She's got an era-appropriate great look. Very layered and simmering performance.

default userpic

A VERY well paced delivery made with style and panache'.

default userpic

Spectacular! Spectacular!

default userpic

Extraordinarily powerful interpretation....de nada!

default userpic

Sophisticated, smart and amazing talent.

default userpic

A smashing and snarky portrayal of a woman who "thinks" she is in charge.

default userpic

Sniping, venomous, snarky, patronizing, belittling and oh do I enjoy every minute of it, thank Morgan for making my day!

default userpic

This is terrific and well paced....the pregnant pauses serve to increase my anxiety level because I feel like she is talking to me and I don't like it!

default userpic

A day with Bobbie is like a day without sunshine...save me from the ice queen...Morgan does this well.

default userpic

That's what we like to see, spunk and a woman unafraid of speaking her mind and possibly making enemies or frenemies as the case may be. Well played Morgan....I see a Mad Men gig in your future

default userpic

Thank you for this clear and steely eyed manifestation of Bobbie. I would love to see Bobbie back on the show and more of Morgan Elizabeth Cox.

default userpic

Her wit is very urbane and biting, love the tone of this one.
Bet this actor (and Bobbie) could take on that Sinjin dude.

default userpic

Morgan fits right in! Attractive, smart, and definitely keeping secrets.

default userpic

Unsolicited advice...hate it! Morgan Elizabeth Cox on Bobbie...love it!

default userpic

Mr. and Ms. Mad Men...the wizards behind the curtain, When you watch this one, think about the versatility this actors training brings to the table. She can do anything and directors LOVE working with her AND she will look great on camera in all those vintage costumes.

default userpic

Wonderful diction and so poised. Thanks for featuring this entrant, I watched her the first time and enjoyed it, it's better the second time around. Skillfull and just like looking at that interesting face....striking coloring

default userpic

Stay positive, think big, you are already there!

default userpic

Ready for her deb debut....dressed to the nines, pearls et all...if she just weren't so nasty....but everyone does love a bad girl.

default userpic

Is she a good witch or a bad witch? Well, she is being nice...sort of...well, maybe not...she's not being mean....or is she?

default userpic

Beautiful skin! Wow, don't see this in LA...very unique

default userpic

Bad girls, bad girls what you gonna do? Sometimes they just get all the goodies and it just isn't fair. This adaptation reveals a woman is has a strong sense of entitlement...for all those goodies.

default userpic

Great to see this hometown girl and St. Mary's Academy graduate in the game..we are all so proud of her.
Go Morgan!

default userpic

An assertive stylish characterization. Could be one of Capote's Swans.

default userpic

So sassy! I love it!

default userpic

OMG! It's the first Mrs. DeWinter!
Run for your lives......

default userpic

An intuitive tour de force.....the pretense of girl talk just kills me! :)

default userpic

Best diction, best evil delivery, best posturing, best dramatic pause, best patronizing, best pearls, best adaptation, best belittlement, best mean girl, best of the bad girls, best alpha female, best in the west!

default userpic

You guys are AMAZING!!!! Thank you so much!!!! Let's see how the next nine days play out...eeek!!!

default userpic

as Bobbie inhabited by Morgan becomes another person and sheds her own frightened personality...and trust me Bobbie is scared.

default userpic

Hey just wanted to say congrats on making it this far. As being the only guy in this category, Its been fun, but all of you ladies are talented, and have brought something unique to the character. Good luck, and may the best BOBBIE BARRET win !! Anthony Bonaventura

default userpic

Stunning performance, a bit of Patty McCormacks, "The Bad Seed" in this one.

default userpic

Watched a few others including the classy Mr. Bonaventura. Gotta say Morgan Elizabeth and Anthony are my top two, with Morgan my favorite just because it's a girl playing a girl.

default userpic

Garson Kanin once said the "best part of ones life is the working part" I would expand on that to say the best part is being the witness to great work and I have had that pleasure with Morgan Elizabeth Cox.

default userpic

music is the space between the notes and acting is the space between the words...the stillness in this piece says it all

default userpic

Oh, the glory of it all!

default userpic

A patient and measured artist is evident in this monologue.

default userpic

all the fun is in how you say a thing and this one is "extreme fun".

default userpic

Your credibility lies with your work, this work.
Keep up the credible, quality work.

default userpic

it's all good...

default userpic

Good enough for a one woman show!

default userpic

A force of nature, watch out world!

default userpic

Infinite Possibilities with this talent!

default userpic

A pivotal performance and an actor I would like to see more of. Love this show and what a fun contest!

default userpic

As Oliver said in the Dickens classic, "Please sir, may I have some more?" Please, may I see some more of this actor? (let's forget about the terrible movie that won the best picture Oscar)
Thanks for an enjoyable 45 seconds!

default userpic

even if she doesnt win this contest, she has the perfect madmen LOOK, right? she needs to just be ON this show, no matter how.

default userpic

Lovely, relaxed, confident and sexy. What more do you want?

default userpic

Great look, magnificent posturing befitting Ms. Bobbie Barret. What a you know what!

default userpic

A leading lady if I ever saw one...she's "on the road" to stardom, the new IT girl!

user-pic

Great look, beautiful skin, talent and skill executed with panache.

default userpic

Morgan ...this is fantastic..Make it happen!

M.D. Walton:)

default userpic

Bonita senorita!

default userpic

Friend or foe? Certainly not an equal...to any other woman.

default userpic

A breath of fresh air, unaffected and unadorned, pure skill with this entrant. I think she understands Bobbie's motivation

default userpic

All your fans up here are applauding this good work, keep it up, you are fabulous! xoxoxoxoxo

default userpic

Still loving this one and the cross dressing Italian, but Morgan is a lot prettier!

default userpic

Intense!

default userpic

Got ringside seats for this competition and this one is a strong contender!

default userpic

Sunrise reveille for this one. OUTSTANDING!

default userpic

Up here in the woods, we watch Mad Men and are entertained and thankful for our simple uncomplicated lives.
Bobbie is a complicated, sad woman and Morgan captures her brittleness, insecurity and sense of entitlement perfectly. Keep up the great work Morgan and Mad Men and Women, we love your show!

default userpic

We all love the bad girl and Bobbie is bad, the baddest!

default userpic

Scrumptious!

default userpic

Lovely skin, voice and diction. Do I detect a slight Boston Brahmin?

default userpic

This woman glows.....plenty of charisma with this entrant

default userpic

Mad for the girl!

default userpic

As Mae West said, "goodness had nothing to do with it" and "when I'm bad I'm better". Here's to the better bad, Morgan Elizabeth Cox as Bobbie.

default userpic

The Best of Everything, including the "Best Bad Girl" of 2009

default userpic

Bobbie has created a separate reality where she is the Queen of Everything and her subjects swoon at her morsels of wisdom. Ms. Cox has captured this woman and her parallel universe where Empress Bobbie is the uncontested autocrat. "A Legend In Her Own Mind"

default userpic

Morgan as Bobbie seems stuck in a timewarp of alleged womanliness. Is she ready for civil rights and I Have A Dream, The Feminine Mystique, Beatlemania, the first Disco:Whiskey a Go-Go and Sean Connery in From Russia With Love. It's A-Lines and shifts right around the corner and Morgan Elizabeth Cox with the bangs will fit right in! Time for Mod Mad Men.

default userpic

No nonsense here, just good old Yankee common sense.

default userpic

truly feeling the intensity and the look.

default userpic

I have seen all the videos and you are by far the best.

default userpic

I am enjoying all the Bobbie Barretts in this round, all are unique and worthwhile with a diverse take on this character. Mad Men decisonmakers...how about bringing in all of the Bobbies for a group walk on? Of course, Mr. Bonaventura may have to leave to drag bit at home...or would he? Anyone remember The Purple Onion in the 60's?

Ms. Cox is my favorite, very glamorous and dangerous.

default userpic

Pithy performance, deliberate and condescending delivery.
She is demanding attention and certainly getting mine!

default userpic

A perfect foil for Mr. Draper, "what evil lurks in the hearts of men?" The answer is Bobbie Barrett, lusciously evil as played by Ms. Cox.

default userpic

Hello Miss Morgan. We love your work, your committment to the craft, the integrity you always bring to the table. Just about everything about you! Steve and Vikki xoxoxoxo :)

default userpic

Well spun dialogue and the barbs are well flung by Morgan as Bobbie. Why mess with such great writing? Thank you MM writers and thank you Morgan!

default userpic

Morgan navigates Bobbie's trecherous and tenacious whims with relish!

default userpic

Fasten your seat belts, it's going to be bumpy ride!
Bobbie is such a bxxxh and done with verve by this actor.

default userpic

....the better you are, the more it looks like walking and talking ..... MEC - walkin' and talkin" with gusto!

default userpic

scrumpdidilyumptious!

default userpic

Beautiful girl, could give Dottie a run for her money....down boy..

default userpic

A true act of transformation and disguise by Morgan Cox.

default userpic

oozing selfishness and charm

default userpic

oozing selfishness and charm

default userpic

A candid portrayal of Bobbie, how I love to hate her!

default userpic

An accomplished thespian

default userpic

It is so exciting to see a SMA grad in this contest. We watched your video and think you are really good. Good Luck, we are rooting for you! Sheila '10

default userpic

Thank you, beautiful people!!! And what fun to see support from SMA!! I can thank my Mama for that one:) You guys are great:) Just gotta stick it out in the Top 10 through Friday...

default userpic

Thank you, everyone!! And the SMA love is extra special:) The support is wonderful. Just gotta stick it out in the Top 10 through Friday!!! :):)

default userpic

That is what I call acting!!

default userpic

outstanding!

default userpic

Morgan, your mom was at SMA watching The Women and she told us all about your career and this contest. We love Mad Men, especially the clothes. A vote for you from the SMA thespians and fashion club!

default userpic

rock the vote for Morgan!

default userpic

The IceWoman Cometh. Bobbie played with icy precision by Morgan. She's got my vote, hands down!

default userpic

spooky and self-assured

default userpic

A super woman of talent and class and she does snarky so well!

default userpic

I love this one!

default userpic

wow! That was great- it's Bobbie in the flesh!

default userpic

Great job!!!

default userpic

Wonderful performance that is out of this world!
Truly, this interpretation does have an otherworldly quality, its' the controlling tone Morgan has applied to the character of Bobbie.

default userpic

That's our Princess Bobbie, inhabiting the upper classes in her mind, expecting people to bow to her alleged wisdom.
The British dudes would love her!

default userpic

Way to go Morgan... from the Special Events office at St. Mary's Academy!

default userpic

A very logical delivery.."you can't be a man...don't even try...be a woman...its' powerful business..."

default userpic

simply mahvelous...you look mahvelous
Kahn

default userpic

Beautiful girl, she would make a striking Vulcan!

user-pic

Clearly an agressive, independent woman who can manage herself and would like to manage everyone else!

default userpic

This woman, Bobbie has a deep dark secret, her controlling nature is a clue. I love this portrayal because it elicits a strong emotion of distrust and hate. Only really skilled actors can elicit these emotions from the audience.

default userpic

I hear they are remaking Captain Blood. Arabella is written all over this actors face...she can go toe to toe with anyone including the 21st century version of Errol/Peter Blood!

default userpic

A girlfriend in designer clothing, a sybil, don't trust her!

default userpic

I worked with Morgan in Williamstown, she is an adept professional with a true reverence for the art of acting.

default userpic

Wonderful portrayal of our Saint Bobbie!

user-pic

A vamp in the great tradition of Claudettes Poppea and Cleopatra!

default userpic

Morgan places a personal stamp on this seamless performance of the sincerely uppity Ms. Bobbie Barrett

user-pic

A rather precise, yet cryptic tone envinced by Morgan's delivery

default userpic

An artful, feline spin on Bobbie, I like it!

default userpic

A relaxed, confident and frisky by proxy Bobbie Barrett

default userpic

What a proficient masquerade!

default userpic

She's master of this domain!

default userpic

A mature performance by a seasoned actor.

user-pic

A legend is born!

user-pic

An actor who knows her business!

default userpic

A perfect foil for Mr. Draper, one with rapier wit and delivery!

default userpic

A vivid, colorful and edgy performance.

default userpic

Life is just a box of chocolates and this is a yummy performance, dripping disdain with every breath.

default userpic

The Indie Spirit "One To Watch" Award goes to Morgan Elizabeth Cox!

default userpic

A crescendo of power and purpose!

default userpic

outstanding!

default userpic

outstanding!

default userpic

pulsating with power, punch and panache!

default userpic

A pointed caustic delivery by MEC

default userpic

Luminous complexion and charm

default userpic

Luminous complexion and charm

default userpic

A triple threat talent!

default userpic

Amazing Grace

default userpic

....and Bobby continues her reign of terror

Off with her head!

default userpic

really well paced delivery, suits the character very well

default userpic

Would not want to tangle with this hussy in a dark alley!

default userpic

heard this actors eyes are so beautiful she needed them covered with glasses when doing extra work. AnnMarie :)

default userpic

You are really good! This is the first time I have seen your work. Vance

default userpic

Go Mo! You own.

default userpic

We are sending our best wishes your way. Stay in the game!

default userpic

This is a great audition, hope you get a call back!

default userpic

Super!!

default userpic

What a tart!

default userpic

What a tart!

default userpic

Phenomenal!

default userpic

Good girl, bad girl, girl next door, le grand horizontal, heroine...she can do it all!

default userpic

Wonderful, Wonderful...a wonder!

default userpic

One take, spot on, cut and print!

default userpic

Don is such a cad, he doe not deserve a woman this playful and assertive.

default userpic

effervescent and tarty, what a smarty!

default userpic

The dom's bomb, what a kick in the pants!

default userpic

We're watching out for you, go the distance and look to the future.

default userpic

great job Morgo!

default userpic

Don and Bobbie, what a fine pair, they deserve each other and Morgan is deliciously affected and full of conceit as Ms. Bobbie

default userpic

Make it work, Morgan! :) xoxoxox

default userpic

I'm voting for you and wishing you well.
An SMA fan.

default userpic

Thanks for making my day....

default userpic

a bountiful bouquet of talent and energy

default userpic

this wily woman as portrayed by Morgan is up to something, some chicanery no doubt.

default userpic

great performance, nothing namby pamby about this one. Would love to see how this woman handles herself and everyone else in the board room.

default userpic

She is terrific as Bobbie, nasty, beautiful, cold and calculating. This actor does it all, comedy, classical, drama, dance and she can sing too! A multi -talented
individual with east and west coast creds.

default userpic

That's Bobbie, the Queen of Everything!

default userpic

Morgan creates the required negative, icy and condescending milieu precisely. Thank you Morgan!

default userpic

succulent and ripe....

user-pic

Skilled performer. I see her in a 60's flick, Electric Kool Aid Acid Test, the Roz Russel character in The Women, the queen in any Ann Rice story, a vulcan in Star Trek, a lawyer in Law and Order, the 21st century That Girl or Mary Richards. You name it, she can do it!

default userpic

A pleasure to watch, just like the sunsets on the islands

default userpic

Life is good when watching Morgan Elizabeth Cox's work.
I leave the theater with a smile on my face and a skip in my step. Thank you Morgan and thank you Mad Men for featuring Morgan

default userpic

The absolute composite of the beauty of Louise Brooks, the bite of Margo Channing and the sexual power of Ava.

default userpic

yowzaa!!

default userpic

A vengeful, jealous, Titania

default userpic

Everything is a perfect canard, esp. the illusion of advice from Miss Bobbie

default userpic

Well, hello gorgeous!

default userpic

I've watched it over and over and still love it. Many of the entries are great and the individual preference of one over the other does not diminish the individual skill and artistry in each. It's all in what is preferred...viva la difference!

default userpic

I think I am in love...will you marry me?

default userpic

she is really well spoken, did she go to Yale? Is she in mensa?

default userpic

Thank you for your support...and who is "ahass" maybe I WILL marry you:) Haha. Thank you, everyone!!!

default userpic

work it, work it, work it!

default userpic

Her lips curl, she coughs, she skewers with her look, her eyes are flat and bottomless pits and she is your worst nightmare. MEC as "Bobbie Barret, dont' miss this one!

default userpic

vox populi.....the people are speaking

default userpic

A natural!

default userpic

A capacity for hard work, crazy hours, fun and can do any character....introducing a character actor, Morgan Cox.
She is actually a very funny, luminous and positive person in real life. What a tranformation!

default userpic

We are very excited for you, good luck and keep up the great work. You are a wonderful role model for all the SMA theater kids!

default userpic

Kickin' it for the home team..go Morgan!

user-pic

Spirited delivery with such an intelligent visage

default userpic

this is it!

default userpic

Uppity women rule!

default userpic

stunning punch!

default userpic

An ace of spades....dangerous curves ahead!

default userpic

You are divine and it's just the beginning!

default userpic

I am new to the show this season, so have not had the pleasure of Bobbie, but this 45 second intro is all I need to get the full gist of this woman. What a piece of work! Done masterfully by Morgan

default userpic

Mad Men Makers, audtion this actor for an ongoing gig, you will not be disappointed. She knows her craft and loves this show.

default userpic

watching this is a true AHHHH- HA moment.

user-pic

snipey!

default userpic

This is it, the last day, it's fine and it's been fun!

default userpic

Fantastic!

default userpic

Wonderful!

default userpic

You may want to check out the recent comment on Monica's page.

default userpic

Thank you everyone!!!! Only a few minutes of this thing left...hopefully I will stick out the Top 10!! And to "IMDB FYI": Everyone went through an approval process, which I am sure they checked this stuff. We all got here with votes and support. Why sour it with such negativity?! No need for this. I support all the contenders, no matter what!!! :)

default userpic

Awesome job! I love it!

default userpic

Morgan, I knew that beauty, brains and courage would come in handy! What a wild fun ride, it was a true lesson in resilience and committment for all the entrants. You have shown class and dignity the whole way and handled the naysayers, your supporters and fellow contestants with grace and gratitude. Thanks for sharing your video, we hae enjoyed every minute of it. Your number one fans in PDX.
xoxoxoxox

user-pic

Well played Morgan, a well earned spot in the top 10!

default userpic

Such a positive, inclusive pov demonstrated in your comment on 10/30. You are a really nice person and LA needs more like you. Thanks!

default userpic

What a mod looking woman, she is ready for the Carnaby St. revolution. Congratualtions on making the top 10.
Yeah Baby!

Way to go Morgan, I just heard the good news. It was tough and that voting went totally crazy towards the end. Mr. Weiner would do well to note the great work and obvious espirit de corp brought to the table by your affirmative nature. Go Morgan!

user-pic

Dear Mr. Weiner,

Please pick Morgan Elizabeth Cox for the Mad Men walk-on.

Sincerely,
The Cantor

user-pic

She is ready for her close up...Mr. Weiner.

default userpic

You made it! Good for you and here's to the future for Ms. Morgan Elizabeth Cox

user-pic

Mr Weiner,

It's a early 60's mod girl, she enters the office in all her go-go boots glory, swings her loose and straight hair around then twirls around and throws her hat up in the hair.
Oops, what a minute...I got confused with Mary Tyler Moore. Anyway, you get it, if it's Mod it's Morgan!

default userpic

You rode this with style and grace. Love your comment in support of the other entrants. You are a winner!

user-pic

Morgan, your work is outstanding! Now is your
TIME. Enjoy every opportunity.

user-pic

The votes in on this girl and she is my pick for a notice from Mr. Weiner. I voted once and am voting again.
Congratulations Morgan, it's tough out there and your postive attitude inspires us all.

default userpic

You rock and so happy to see you in the top 10!

default userpic

Happy Halloween to Morgan and everyone at Mad Men.
Mad Men has brought back style and a 60's theme for 2009 Halloween parties. Thank you for that! Go team go!

default userpic

M recommends this actor for a Mad Men walk-on. It's Mad Men Madness and I am Mad for Morgan. Or shall we say, "Less Megan Fox and More Morgan Cox!" :)

user-pic

How does one say "Dear Mr. Weiner, bring Morgan in for a walk-on" in Italian? Does is start with amore and end with benne? That's all I know, please imagine the rest. Thanks!

user-pic

Morgan, you have integrated the challenges of this contest with humility and professionalism. I am so inspired by the supportive statements directed to Monica and the thanks to Mr. Bonaventura. This is a challenging position to maintain in these shark filled waters. Keep the light shining and it is noticed....by many. Hope to see a Mad Men episode staged at The Carlyle in NYC...love that place! They still have elevator operators!

user-pic

Just watched Excaliber...again. I vote for you as Morgana in the spirit of Helen Mirrens adaptation. It's time to update this tale of fellowship betrayed, to a post modern vampire tale of resurrection and collaboration to save the sorry, all too human, race! Mr. Weiner are you up to this task? :)

default userpic

Morgan, a pat on the back for all your great work since graduation. You are a motivating inspiration to all aspiring actors. Thanks!

user-pic

Wild women don't get the blues, Bobbies Wild and so are You!

default userpic

me gotta go now, but before I leave, THREE CHEERS FOR MORGAN ELIZABETH!

default userpic

Her aim is true.

default userpic

Hooray for the Halloween Hipster. Just viewed your Halloween photos and love your realistic hippie chick.
Hip Hip Hooray for Morgan!

user-pic

Mr. Weiner,

Morgan Elizabeth Cox has an MFA in acting has worked at Williamstown with Mr. Ritchie and Kate Burton, she has appeared in several Berkshire Theater Festival plays and received glowing reviews for her work in Where Is Tommy Flowers (including props from Mr. McNalleys life partner).
Additionally she appears regularly in USC and UCLA student films as well independent films. She is truly a gifted character actor and can play the period glamour gal thru the bohemian beatnik to the mother figure and best friend. On top of that she is funny and is very active in a local comedy troupe. She is an actors-actor, loves working in collaboration and is noted for her support of her fellow castmates. She loves a challenge and is just plain fun to work with!

Sincerely, The Norseman

default userpic

Yippee, Skippee! You did it!
Now it's time to get a great big venti frappuccino and celebrate!

default userpic

A fine spirit, a friendly face and fiercely committed to her craft. That's Morgan Elizabeth Cox.

default userpic

Ink-a Dink-Doo, A dink-a-dee, A dink-a-doo, Morgan's got the whole world in a swoon, and none too soon.
Gotta love that Morgan!

default userpic

Snap! Crackle! and Pop! That's Morgan

user-pic

The Summer of Love was in '69 and all those folks were just copycats and Greenwich Village wannabes. She's been there and done that since the 50's just updated her dress with color because she is tired of snapping her fingers and dressing in black.

default userpic

I have seen this actress so convincingly play a character who was sweet and guileless -- now she has captured Bobbie's bitter pill of a personality -- let's see what else she can do!

default userpic

Finishing Fierce, that's what we like to see. Keep up the great work Morgan. This is it!

default userpic

Morgan is loquacious, Bobbie is laconic, what a transformation and there is more where that came from!

user-pic

She has quite the range, from the sweet juvenile Juliet to the chafing, brittle and deeply tragic JoAnn in Company.
The Lady's Who Lunch...Elaine would have been proud.

Morgan, you are so right for this opportunity.
Your supporters in the Great Northwest know

Mr. Weiner,

Introducing Morgan Elizabeth Cox, a NW native and current LA resident by way of the east coast with a pit stop in Bend, Oregon. Morgan's starmeter is up and her CTR on Facebook is triple the norm for this notoriously tough advertising channel. She brings class, professionalism and positive energy to every environment. She earnestly welcomes challenges and demonstrates a high level of integrity when dealing with most anything.
I have watched her on set and she quietly confirms direction given, then action and it's done. She is noted for her ability to break the tension that occasionally occurs on set with the well timed comedic punch. Walk ons? No sweat, but you may need to have her wear glasses to tone down her striking blue eyes.

Sincerely,
The Godmother

user-pic

Fantastic, way to go, let's see this intelligent, striking beauty on the show!

The Woman of a Thousand Faces, Morgan Elizabeth Cox.
Dowdy secretary, tired housewife, hipster in black, love child in beads, Junior League Chairwoman, bookstore clerk,
nutty roommate, the good girl, the bad girl, the doctor, the lawyer, the best friend (yes, she do "the Rhoda") and she loves every minute of it!

default userpic

Oregon loves Mor-e-gan!

Congratulations and "make it work" :)

user-pic

Please Mister Weiner Sir, may we have some more??

Don't lose

We've lost our heads over Morgan Elizabeth Cox!

Love Morgan, love Mad Men, would love to see two of my favorite things working together

user-pic

Hi Morgan! Heard you made it to the Top 10 and look at you, here you are...the best to you.

user-pic

Dear MM,

Thanks for the opportunity to speak about Morgan. As a life long fan of this young woman and a quiet observer of her measured and deliberate commitment to the practice of acting I have been continually inspired and humbled. She is the real deal and will add yet another complex dimension to what is already a complex and layered milieu. I love your show and everything about it, just when I think I have the characters figured out, POW! - another plane revealed. Just like life, we never have it all figured out and as time marches on we are sure about and know less and less.
Good work! Thanks

Sincerely,
Maynard

user-pic

I voted so long ago I completely forgot you were even doing this Morg! Congrats on the top ten!

Excellent job!

default userpic

Yay Morgan! We will be glued to our seats every Sunday night until you're on the show.....you are too cool for school!

user-pic

Mad Men will be Maddingly Maddening without Morgan...
...movements of thought and soul transmitted in a kind of intense isolation..... Lulu

default userpic

Talented and a team player, talented and great ensemble cast...a match made in heaven.

user-pic

Introducing Morgan Elizabeth, a member of the Pepsi Generation....and she trys harder....

user-pic

It's mod, it's mad it's Morgan ModMen Madness!

user-pic

You're the top, you're the Tower of Pisa, you're the top, you're the Mona Lisa. Nothing like Cafe Carlyle...Keely Shaye, Bobby Short, Don Draper with some dame and Morgan Cox discretely checking them in...

user-pic

"....you used to be big. I am big. It's the pictures that got small."

These little photos are way too small for a big talent like Morgan Elizabeth, it's time to get her on the big plasma screen.

user-pic

Does she or doesn't she? Well, she does and she's great!

user-pic

An optimist, an earnest belief in moving forward, one step at a time.

default userpic

Some are good, some are great - hers is simply the BEST!

default userpic

This beautiful young woman got it.

user-pic

A claravoiyant actor, she knows what you want before you even utter the words...an economic professional

default userpic

Not only is she good, but she looks the part too.

user-pic

I am hopefull I will see more of Morgan....she is riveting and cant' take my eyes off of her.

default userpic

Acting is about communicating using every available tool. Her voice, her facial expressions and her physical movements are all helping her convey the message. Well done!

default userpic

She is trusting and the force is with her....she lives the heros journey every day.
J. Campbell

user-pic

"Sincerity and the correct use of voice are the greatest things in the art of acting."

This actor, Morgan understands this business of sincerity and diction and does it "correctly."

user-pic

"nobody's perfect" but Morgan is pretty darn close! :)

default userpic

The crystal ball says, one tall dark handsome somewhat older man, two beautiful blue eyed red-headed children, a white picket fence...around the lagoon style pool, a dog-small, a cat-feisty and a significant career that all started with a gig on Mad Men...

Then, later in life she has an afternoon talk show, inherits Oprah's mantle and empire and adds a splash of Sheila Graham and Gypsy Rose Lee tightening it up with her own refreshing cynicism.

user-pic

The pause that refreshes....Morgan Elizabeth Cox.

user-pic

Extraordinary attention to detail - Morgan Elizabeth

user-pic

An enigma; strange, fey and mysterious, just like the cast of Mad Men!

user-pic

"Let's also say that change is neither good or bad. It simply is. It can be greeted with terror or joy. A tantrum that says, " I want it the way it was" or a dance that says, " Look, it's something new."

"Look, it's something new....Morgan Elizabeth!"

(a foreshadowing from Don, wonder wether he will throw a tantrum or dance?"

user-pic

"Oh, it's so hard to decide! Though really it's all about......delivery."

You decide...Morgan Elizabeth, great delivery!

user-pic

I'm dancing, let's go with Morgan...

default userpic

I see you are still on this wild ride, well pardner..I'm with ya all the way!

default userpic

Congratulations Morgan, looking forward to seeing you going toe to toe with Sinjin!

user-pic

Here in Wieden and Kennedy country the difference between the "just do it's' and the "just didn'ts" is clear.
Morgan Elizabeth is definitely a JUST DO IT personality.

default userpic

Wow, I don't know if it's me, my PC or the website but it's really hard to sign in...but I persisted because, Morgan m'dear you have earned kudos for sticking in the game and making the top ten. Mad Men, Morgan is a keeper!

user-pic

The unexpected! Morgan Elizabeth!

user-pic

" Fun-loving girl, responsible sometimes. Likes to laugh, lives to love seeks size six for city living and general galavanting. No dull moments or dull men allowed."

That's Morgan, NEVER a dull moment!

default userpic

Hey there Morgan,

Rich Finley here. Wanted to stop by and say congrats on being a finalist and best of luck to you this week...

user-pic

Morgan Elizabeth Cox, a SHOWSTOPPER at the Worlds Fair.

user-pic

"only boring people are boring"

Morgan Cox, refreshing, NEVER boring!

user-pic

Who is to say who or what is the best and can anyone truly judge? Some are fun, some are creative marvels, some have excellent noir touches and editing and some are just skill based. It's all good and done in the spirit of fun and admiration for this great show. Wow! What a season finale and so many opportunities for new stories and new characters...bring it on and bring on Morgan E. Cox!

user-pic

Nice........

user-pic

We are crazy proud of you Morgan! Loved your Angels In America piece, keep up the fantastic work, you are so intensely talented or as one of your fans exclaimed.."Holy Cow!" :)

default userpic

Today is the day and we look forward to watching Mad Men Season 2 and looking for you on Mad Men Season 4!

user-pic

All of Matthew Weiner's shows have been outstanding with personal faves being Becker and now Mad Men, which continues to blow my mind with each revealing episode.
Mr. Weiner, may you live long and prosper and continue to create amazing, challenging and intelligent entertainment. THANKS!

user-pic

Peace out and keep your fantastic, fierce "freak flag flyin'"

user-pic

Out with the old, in with the new. What a fantastic season finale, it's going to be a very long wait for season 4...torture. I will miss our Sunday Night Mad Men Parties and look forward to the new Sterling, Cooper, etc...etc...
with Ms. Cox and the new improved Mad Men.

default userpic

I hope this actress wins. Of all the performances I've seen, hers is by far the best. I am not surprised she's a professional but she is very good. She also has a good Mad Men "look" and I think she'd be a lot of fun on the show. (It's only been ten minutes since his separation ... doesn't Don need a new love interest?)
