ABOUT THE CONTEST
AMCtv.com invites you to submit an audition video clip of pre-selected lines from Mad Men Season 2. These monologues were originally spoken by one of the following characters: Don Draper, Roger Sterling, Pete Campbell, Joan Holloway, Bobbie Barrett, and Jimmy Barrett. Click here to watch the original performances.
PRIZE
The Grand Prize winner will win a chance at a walk-on role in Mad Men Season 4. Round trip airfare to Los Angeles, CA plus hotel accommodations will be provided for the Grand Prize winner and a guest. Ten First Prize winners will each receive a Mad Men Season 2 DVD set.
JUDGES
Mad Men's executive producer/writer Matthew Weiner will select the Grand Prize Winner.
Registered AMCtv.com members vote for and comment on their favorite entries to determine finalists.
The 20 entries to receive the highest number of votes enter the final round.
The 10 entries to receive the highest number of votes in the final round will become First Prize Winners.

For those of you trying to vote who are telling me that the site won't allow you to log in or won't permit you to vote once you do log in I apologize. If Monica has already appeared as "background:" in Mad Men, how brilliant of her (and even more important) how well this action fits in with Season 4. With the dissolution of Sterling Cooper, everyone currently in, is now out (including background secretaries) except for the cast members gleaned to create the new firm. Using wit and a keen consciousness of what might be coming, Monica has succeeded in positioning herself for an opportunity to transition into the new season, seamlessly albeit darkly, just as if Matthew had written it himself! I'll say it again, how PERFECT she is for this show!
