Lamenting the end of Friday Fright Night

Friday night/Saturday morning was the virtually the only time that I regularly tuned in to AMC, for the horror films. But it seems that this is a thing of the past. Yes, the films were usually sub-par (with the exception of the recent Bride of Frankenstein, Son of Frankenstein, Gorilla at Large). In fact, it seemed that the selection of Fright Night films was improving over the constant repetition of the Halloween series. Now, according to the schedule, the whole thing is off, and that makes me sad enough to want to cancel my subscription to AMC and channel the money into Netflix. AMC, why have you forsaken us, the horror/old movie buffs? Please reconsider!
