HALLOWEEN DAY!

After viewing the MONSTERFEST movies schedule, I was completely shocked that on Halloween day, after 3:30 pm, AMC is going to show some crappy-ass movies, up until the early hours of Nov 1st. I usually watch AMC on Halloween nite, while I pass out candy, with some friends, but now, this is going to be the first Halloween in ages, that I will not be watching AMC come Halloween nite. Halloween Nite should go out with a bang, not with Resident Evil or Constantine. Better Luck Next Year, AMC!!!

WTF!!!!.... I look forward to this every year and let me say before this yea i was so excited for Halloween to roll around just to watch all of these classic horror movies to be on AMC. One one thing i liked the most was the Halloween movies line up all day on Halloween and now theres like 3 movies on all day and they start in the morning. Someone at AMC should look at some of these blogs and realize how bad they screwed up. I mean Resident Evil and House on Haunted Hill as your Prime time movies... COME ON!

I have to agree. I myself am very old school and totally enjoy and love to see what I call the classics on Halloween night. This means Halloween, Friday the 13th, The Omen, the Exorcist, Carrie, just to name a few. Essentially I have to say I cannot get enough of Halloween (1979) on this very special night. I also do think that someone missed the boat over at AMC. READ the Blogs!!! It’s so obvious what the people want.
Longer Monster Fest, air the standard horror classics, don’t show 1000 Repeats.
It’s so simple and easy to please us. AMC is making this much too hard.
Most people like repetition in life and don’t like change, especially when it comes to their favorite holidays.
Monster Fest will never be perfect to meet all our terms, but they can try by reading our Blogs and do try a little harder.

Yea I agree this is a bummer too, but im assuming they paid alot more for those movies versus the older ones and are taking advantage of it?. Either way better luck next year, still thankful they are doing this though.

Shame on you AMC! I've been watching Monsterfest from the beginning.

I used to skip school and watch the great old black & white horror films all day sprinkled with classic 70s and 80s.

No Bela!? Not one showing of the classic Dracula? Not enough Boris, no Children of the Corn? or Hellraiser? and you are not playing the classic Halloween enough.

These new films aren't worth their salt. Nor is the new name. What a bummer.

Gone are the days of from the 15th to the 31st classic horror movies all day long. Thanks for the memories.

I'll set my alarm to 8:00 in the morning to watch the one showing of Halloween.

I'm a little late joining this thread, but I'm glad I found it. I was disappionted with Fearfest this year. Last year and in years past, it lasted more than just a week and showed better movies. Even though I have seen the Halloweens, Friday the 13ths and Nightmare on Elm Street hundreds of time, I don't mind the repeats. In fact, this is the time of year they should be shown, if not more. I even got into Hellraiser last year and watched it over and over. There were no complaints from me. I hope they do better next year and show the old stuff and make Fearfest last longer. Also, I think they should keep up Fear Friday and start it a little earlier and show horror movies from about 7 or 8pm on through the night. Just my opinion.
