It's hard to believe there was a time when people only saw Sean Connery as James Bond. He shot to stardom as the original Bond in Dr. No but after six films as 007, he swore he'd never play him again. The transition wasn't easy, but in the 1980s, Connery reinvented himself and left the secret agent behind. How did the aging sex symbol do it? Hint: It wasn't by losing his accent.
