The Best Clint Eastwood Quotes

Eastwood This weekend's 310 to Yuma, which stars Russell Crowe and Christian Bale, may be a fine movie, but it's got nothing on most of the Westerns Clint Eastwood made.  To 'make your day,' I've assembled some of the best Clint Eastwood quotes, the ones that you remember, and some ones you may not have heard.

“Go ahead, make my day.”

“Respect your efforts, respect yourself. Self-respect leads to self-discipline. When you have both firmly under your belt, that's real power.”

“I tried being reasonable, I didn't like it.”

"A good man always knows his limitations.”

“You've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel lucky?' Well, do ya punk?”

“I've never met a genius. A genius to me is someone who does well at something he hates. Anybody can do well at something he loves -- it's just a question of finding the subject.”

“I don't believe in pessimism. If something doesn't come up the way you want, forge ahead. If you think it's going to rain, it will.”

“Sometimes if you want to see a change for the better, you have to take things into your own hands.”

“Hollywood, as everyone knows, glamorizes physical courage. . . . if I had to define courage myself, I wouldn't say it's about shooting people. I'd say it's the quality that stimulates people, that enables them to move ahead and look beyond themselves.”

how could anyone overlook ----

"he looks too damn good, that's how"! - from

dirty harry. that line is so good i get goose bumps just thinking about it.

or how bout from "the good, the bad, and the ugly"? several great quotes such as

"there are two kinds of people in the world my friend. those with loaded guns and those who dig --- you dig"

and his entire ending dialog as he leaves tuco in the desert. and as he rides away he simply says "sorry tuco" sooooo cool!!!!
