It's driving me crazy trying to find out what the name of it was....What is the black and white movie that has
NO DIALOG ???...
I remember it as a spy type plot.
You could follow the story by following the proceedings...it had sound...just no verbal exchanges....I thot it was VERY creative....might have been a Ray Milland film ?
Can anyone help me out ? GumManRay@aol.com

Why are the DVD Enchanced version of movies (letter boxed with interesting trivia displayed beneath) shown only once? I caught the last 30 minutes of "The Graduate" a few months ago and was saddened to see that it would never be shown again. What is the thinking behind this decision? Are DVD enchanced movies available elsewhere?

Hey, big fan of AMC tv. I watch the movies all the time. Recent I've seen your new commercial for "Future of Classic". The one that goes, "This is..." and has a song to accompany it, a steady piano beat. I was wondering if there is a possible way to view that commercial on your site. I've looked but maybe I'm not very good at looking. Or maybe someone knows an outsource. Anyways, thanks in advance!

Is there a way I can get information on the first Cinderella movie ever made in black and white? I'm not sure about the year but it is around late 1960 and early 1970`s. I would like to have info on that movie copy or something.

What the song is that plays on the current AMC "This is..." ad?
The text on the ad goes "This is Honor", "This is Courage" etc. while showing clips from movies.
The track is sounds like a downbeat, hiphop instrumental with a piano riff in the background.
If anyone knows what it is, or how might find out, I thank you in advance.

Israel became a state in May of '48. Their 60th anniversary is coming up. What movies are you planning to show that would commemorate this event?

In the commercial for this movie tonight there is a great sound clip that sounds like its from There Will Be Blood. Is this Dominic's score for the film, though, and if so, what is this section called?

I just saw part of the Graduate on AMC. It was shown the "DVD" way, i.e. with non-stop text, comments and information provided in a box at the bottom of the screen, while the movie played. What an utterly ridiculous thing! This totally undermines the movie experience, it interferes, you can't focus on the movie. Who came up with this idiocy? I sure hope AMC doesn't do this a lot, because the Osborne show is a good one. We watch him and his movies several times week. But please, don't ruin your excellent movies with this text non-stop text garbage at the bottom of the screen!

I saw the AMC promos about the Godfather films that AMC played last week, and in those Promos there is a quick (very quick) shot of some line from the movie that was in Italian... WHAT WAS THE QUOTE AND IT'S TRANSLATION?

They were before my time but I sure miss AMC showing them. I wonder if they (AMC) will bring them back ? I love Ray Milland, Lorretta Young, and so many others.

About 20 years ago I saw The Golden Gate Murders on AMC. It starred David Janssen & Susannah York. It apparently was a made-for-tv movie in 1979. I never saw it again on TV to tape, and as a result have been searching ever since to buy it. However, I cannot find it anywhere! Does anyone know where I might be able to buy it???

Is it possible this was How Green Was My Valley? If not, what?!
It was between 1976 and 1978 on what I believe to be PBS, and I think it was Masterpiece Theater. Not sure. All Brits. A man is walking through low grassy foothills, obviously looking for something ... or maybe it's just very familiar to him but he doesn't know why. He sees what I perceived to be a very beaten up, very weathered bowler hat (or is it a porkpie?), the one with a lip all around it -- that had a bunch of holes in it and was weather-beaten, thread-bare. It sparks a memory in him. Cut to him remembering when he was a little boy, and he was in a ... cave? Shack? I want to say it was a cave. There were these British hillbillies? Deep back woods Appalachia folk? Toothless, Troglodyte, dirty types in overall type clothes -- and he's there with them, and they're doing a lot of laughing at things they find very amusing, but the boy is very uncomfortable and wants out now.
He has to pee. They tell him to go in a pot. it was white? Low wide chamber pot thingie? And it turns out that this is what he found in the low foothills as an adult, was an ancient chamber pot that was rusted with holes in it. Is this the same chamber pot he peed in, the adult man wonders? When he did, he was really scared and upset and yelled, "I want to wake up! I want to wake up!!" in a very thick English (Welsh?) accent. Cut to him in the foothills again, remembering this, wondering if it's evidence that it all really happened. My image at that point was that he was an older 50-ish or 60-ish man with the rusty pot.
I had originally thought parts of the movie, The Lathe of Heaven were also this mystery movie, but I since learned that they're separate. I don't know if my parents were flipping between two movies, or I was jusst putting two movies together. In any event, The Liverpool BritBillies is a real mystery. A couple people think it could be How Green Was My Valley, but I haven't been able to find a verbatim walkthrough of that movie to find the scene.
Can anyone help?!
