Fearfest?... Yeah Monsterfest had a better Ring.

I've already commented on such a topic. I guess I just really want my voice heard. Don't call it "Fearfest" if all it induces is disgust not fear. If you want someone to write the best monster list for next year I'd be more than happy. I've already read several good suggestions from people just like me who have been avid AMC monsterfest viewers in the past and are just getting tired of watching it go downhill...FAST.

commercials

I have a hard time watching the movies towards the end cause of all the commercials, you say that you have less than the norm, well I get overwhelmed by all of the commercials. When it gets down to five minutes of commercials and six minutes of the show I turn off the show. When the program starts you get about twenty minutes to get your interest, and then the bombardment starts, towards the end its almost a toss up, they interrupt the commercials to put on the show, and thats when I switch the channels

1944 movie Home In Indiana

I would like to watch or purchase this movie for my mother who was in Marion, Ohio for the filming. She aslo went to lunch with some fo the actors. I have looked for 6 years to get this movie. Can anyone help?

WHAT IS EVERYONE DOING FOR HALLOWEEN?

I'm dressing up as Freddy Kreuger and going trick or treating. I posted my costume on my ID pic. Scary isn't it.

Irritating advertisement banners along the bottom of my HDTV screen during the movie.

Is it just me or is anyone else tired of having the movie they're watching disrupted with banners that are displayed along the bottom of the screen. Right when the movie is getting interesting along the bottom of my 46 inch HDTV screen pops up a "Mad Men advertisement". A couple minutes later another distraction, "Next on AMC" pops up. I'm not just talking about a small portion of the screen mind you, but at least 1/4 of the screen is taken up with text and pictures. Then a little while later the irritating AMC HD icon at the bottom right become "Fear Fest '09". Good GOD why not let us just watch the freakin movie and advertise upcoming AMC events during the commercials. Or better yet why not display these irritating banners during the commercials? I've gotten to the point where I've started to change channels just to get away from this madness.

john wayne films

please show films more that demonstrate the duke's acting range. Films such as "Red River" and "Dark Command". Don't set it on auto-pilot for"Chisum" And "Rio Bravo". This is obviously someone who isn't doing what their job! Do you really think the public doesn't notice this? You have more competition than ever! FIRE THIS PERSON !!!

Looking for WWII Movie

I saw a movie on AMC about a group of WWII pilots taken prisoner by the Nazis. One by one they unwaringly give away a bit of a secret until the Nazis can figure out what their mission is. They realize this as they are being transported by train, escape, and get word to the resistance. Instead of their comrades flying to their death as a result of their errors, they are able to bomb a field of fuel tanks. Problem is, I can't remember the name of the movie! Can anyone help?
