AMC in HD????
Has AMC considered broadcasting in HD like a growing number of other cable channels have done? if so, when?? I just bought a new large screen HD TV and would love to see your movies in HD and since most of the new TVs being sold are HD, when will AMC join the group of channcels showing their films in HD.

Big TV huh? What are you compensating for, shrinky dink?
The only place to see AMC in high def is on channels that replay that content elsewhere, e.g. Mad Men clips on the SAG awards program I'm watching now on TNT *HD*
I've been noticing since day one of its initial HD broadcasts that the 'widescreen' presentation of AMC films ( Hollywood films not necessarily Made for TV 1.78 re: Mad Men) seems to be 'stretched or wobbly' widescreen., I know I'm not explaining it properly.,. but when usual widescreen Hi Def has the same look as anamorphic (enhanced) DVDs., i.e. Movie Central and Encore HD channels . Top marks.
If I have any type of beef at all with Movie Central or Encore is their 2.35 letterboxed films are sometimes pan and scanned down to 1.78., but they still look good.. AMC on the other have the presentations in letterbox and ARE not anamorphic presentations and therefore laughable and unviewable.. and therefore I will switch channels and not waste my TV time on this unenjoyable fodder .. anyone agree? is there a site where we can go and find out if AMC will upgrade their equipment, or where they will take our email beefs seriously and then will give us a more enjoyable and therefore a rewardable recordable experience??
