Roadhouse ROCKS!

I'm not a fan of Roadhouse just because I look like a bouncer. But, maybe I look like a bouncer because I am a huge fan of Roadhouse....definitely, something to think about. I'm a car guy through and through, so watching Swayze cruise around in his '65 Riviera is quite fine with me. I actually had an exact clone of that car a few years back...clam shell headlights and all. Ya, Roadhouse is one of those movies that is timeless. I wore out my VHS and bought the DVD a few years back...now that has quite a few scratches on it. Anyway, huge fan, great movie and what a classic- first time in a movie it was cool to be tough and smart!

Roadhouse is an awesome movie no doubt! Any man should appreciate this movie...and every woman definately should appreciate this movie. Probably for slightly different reasons in most cases. Lets just say I wasnt looking at the car Haven! Anyway the only thing that may have made this movie better in my eyes is if they had been wearing skates! ;o) Im going to have to DVR this one!!!

Big big FAN!!

The remarkable thing about Road House is, by all accounts it should have faded into a pantheon on '80s B-Movies, but for some reason it's persisted. Is it, as Haven says, the perfect mix of tough guy and smart guy in Patrick Swayze? Is it the polar bear? Or is it Kelly Lynch's hair? Perhaps all three. One thing is certain: Road House is a classic through and through.

Your right when you think about it.. Roadhouse appealed to guys and girls for different reasons. Not often is that the case anymore....you have the "300" for guys and "Sex in the City" for gals. Roadhouse, is a good watch, doesn't take itself too serious! And you got to love the 'ole Mullett!

I agree with it being timeless, it's one of those fun movies that I can't help but flip to whenever it comes on, just a fun watch all around. And you weren't the only one who liked the car Haven, that Riviera was awesome! I think Roadhouse has got a little bit of something for everyone, and still keeps itself fun and entertaining, you don't see that often enough anymore.

I think Haven should have a part in Roadhouse 2,

OMG...I can't believe you think this is a "classic"!!! The only good thing in this movie is Patrick Swayze. It figures all you guys are diggin' it...it's a completely brainless piece of film...a real clunker!!! Oh, yeah...watching guys beat the s_ _t outta each other and throw their weight around...oh, boy...that's fun!!! I can imagine just the type who watch this stinkaroonie...."Pulonkski" and "Armonzo" who go to the WWF. I just hope they aren't showing the damned thing over and over again to "memorialize" the ailing Patrick Swayze because "Ghost" would have been a better tribute to his acting.
