Old Dance Movie

My daughter and I saw a clip of an old black and movie where a group of dancers were tap dancing and doing a kick line while bouncing basketballs while kicking. Someone thought it might be one of the old Gold Digger of 1933, 35 or 37 movies. Does anyone know?
