What the song is that plays on the current AMC "This is..." ad?
The text on the ad goes "This is Honor", "This is Courage" etc. while showing clips from movies.
The track is sounds like a downbeat, hiphop instrumental with a piano riff in the background.
If anyone knows what it is, or how might find out, I thank you in advance.

I love the Columbo movie series and showed today just don't have the same flare. I am new to this website. How do I communicate my suggestions to have AMC schedule future Columbo shows on the air?

How could "The Big Country" not be in the top 20 westerns ever. It's definetly in the top "5". And "Open Range" deserves to be up there too.
"Shane" is number one without question, the ones that all the others aspired to after that movie.

Has anyone heard anything? I have checked on websites, some say "yah ones coming out. I've read the script." while others say, "NO why on earth would speilburg invest time in one. There's no audience for it." There is an audience-me and my friends. come on ppl. So tell if there is any news on any thing about JP4. I want to know!

Come on, really? There was no John Wayne before John Wayne, UNTIL John Wayne, so how can there be a next John Wayne...like askin who's the next God...
there's only ONE. You can compare, but only the older, more seasoned would fit. I agree that Duvall, Selleck, Elliott would work, but don't leave out Tommy Lee Jones. But none of them are or ever would be The
Duke. They would just be remembered as really good
cowboys. John Wayne was just America period. His voice alone was enough to make the enemy throw a white flag. Shoulda been President....

Hey guys -
This is Evan, the die-hard fan from the Terminator 2 "Cinemania" episode.
It seems like no matter the place or time, whenever T2 comes on, I always have to watch it through the end. This movie has it all: incredible action, huge starpower, broader themes and some of the most revolutionary special effects from way back in 1991.
My favorite scene was the galleria and first meeting between Arnold and the T-1000. Up to that point the film is a race to John Connor, then a race to Sarah Connor and then a chase with the T-1000 in pursuit.
The episode was a blast to film. Some of the things I found out about the effects blew my mind!! When T-1000 froze in liquid nitrogen and his leg broke... they used an amputee! There are a million stories like that.
Hope you enjoyed the trivia question. What you may not know is that the 3rd deciding question was actually the 9th because Sufe and I kept knowing and not knowing the same information. Who knew?
What about T2 sticks out to you?

I am very pleased to say that AMC will be playing The entire Jaws series twice on Independence Day. The first one has for twenty years been on no.1 on my top 20 favorite movies list. It's a great film that I would highly recommend.

As a kid, my family rented a VCR along with the movie whenever we wanted to watch something. And I can recall a particular Saturday when we watched "The Princess Bride" back to back to back. I love this film.
From the Ancient Booer to "Tyrone, you know how much I like to watch you work," it's constant enjoyment.
The coolest moment on the set of "Cinemania," was having Mandy Patinkin lean over and whisper into my ear those now immortal words, "Hello.... my name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die." I'll admit it, I teared up a bit. Talk about your dreams coming true.

I sat in a classroom, 14 years old and bored out of mind. The teacher, in an attempt to shut up a room full of rowdy kids, put a movie inside a massive VHS player..."The Princess Bride". It was that day that I first fell in love with a movie that, to this day, remains a classic.
Almost 2 decades later, I found myself sitting across from two of the amazing film icons who helped make the "Princess Bride" possible. Rob Reiner, who's white beard and heartwarming smile are almost a trademark that we associate with great movies was sharing one of his favorite film making experiences as he sat next to legendary actor Mandy Patinkin (Inigo Montoya).
Just being able to hear what it was like being part of a movie that's not just known to so many, but MEMORIZED by millions was the highlight of my year.
The acting, the sets, the unforgettable characters, a moving love story, the jokes and, of course, the best sword fight ever makes this movie one that truly passes the test of time. Whether you're 14 years old or 80 years old, this flick continually passes the test of time.
Garrett
Feel free to hit me back. I'll be on the whole time the movie's playing!
