Movie to Buy
About 20 years ago I saw The Golden Gate Murders on AMC. It starred David Janssen & Susannah York. It apparently was a made-for-tv movie in 1979. I never saw it again on TV to tape, and as a result have been searching ever since to buy it. However, I cannot find it anywhere! Does anyone know where I might be able to buy it???

Great movie -- especially the ending.
Hi, I would like to find this movie called "The Promise". I think that one of the actor's name was Kathleen Quinlan and it is about a couple who were in love and the mother of the man didn't like him with this girl. They went to a favorite spot and placed a necklace under a rock and made a promise to each other. Anyway, while driving back from their special spot, they were in a car accident. The girl's face was disfigured and the guy was led to believe by his mother that she died in the car accident. What really happened was his mother paid a plastic surgeon to have her face reconstructed with the promise that she would never see her son again. She became an art dealer and she was also an artist. She met him again after the surgery and she thought that he would recognize her but he didn't at first.
Anyway, to make a long story short, he did finally realize who she was and she was upset because she had fallen in love with him all over again and she went to their secret spot and when she removed the rock where the necklace they placed was, it wasn't there and that's when he appeared and told her about a promise that he and the woman he loved made. Do you remember the name of that movie and is it available anywhere?
I may not have the actor's name right but I remember the story. Please help me out.
